When I first called I got a great experience with Armando. As soon as I got the okay from my client to book the room, called back and Bri was sooo cool. Then it got better! I check in and Brian is a bad A S S. He went above and beyond to accommodate my disabled client (and me). He was so friendly and nice. I am very impressed. I owned a motel from 2001-2016 so I’m picky and know good employees. They were so great. Also room is clean, lobby is nice, lots of amenities. Handicap shower with the seat was such a plus! We HAD to have one for our stay. Also nice area, my client was very worried about her Corvette after only seeing Portland on the news and we didn’t even have to use their private garage since she felt comfortable with the spot above.

I liked the modern decor. The courtyard patio was lovely. The location was very convenient and staff (especially Armando) were friendly and helpful. The credit to be used in the sundry shop was thoughtful and appreciated.

Great location near Keller Auditorium (we were there for a ballet) and Portland State campus. The bed was super comfortable and the game room is a cool hangout with friends. Courtyard has several propane fire pits, and self parking is available. Highly recommend! 4 stars only because our room wasn’t ready and we checked in well after 4.

The location is close to everything, five blocks from the Waterfront, a block from The Keller. Minutes from both OHSU locations. Having an onsite restaurant is so convenient. Parking is onsite and monitored.

Scrape marks, dents, and dings on walls and corners detract from first impressions and guest experience. Great customer service from well-trained staff makes up for it to some extent. The overall value was fair.

the staff and room were both amazing. they had so many wonderful amenities, really went above and beyond. they had access to the 24 fitness spa, bunch of games and a pool table, and rentable equipment. the interior was modern and artsy, the rooms were clean and had coffee and waters. the rooms had doorbells and could tell were very clean. there was parking for 35 a night and beautiful outdoor seating court witn firepits.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Zags. The self parking was terrific (protected underground), the room was clean and well appointed, and the gear room was fabulous (although we didn't get to use it because of weather like we had hoped). They were having issues with the WiFi - which when the connection held was very fast, but the connection kept dropping. We would totally stay here again.

We love the art work in the motel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only drawback was the EV charging station didn't work....but there was one a few blocks away that did. The other issue we had was with Tripadviser booking software. There is a filter for dog friendly places but no were on the form is there a place to say you are bring your dog!

Great place, great design, patio is nice. Rooms had some mechanical issues…WiFi was weak. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is close to a lot downtown and easy access to transit both trolley, Trimet and car.
