Second time back and nothing has changed, Very easy and fast check in with a very pleasant and friendly lady behind the counter. She could not be any more helpful. Room was very well laid out and everything was clean and tidy. Great sleep after 30hrs travel. This will be my home every time I visit Portland for overnight stay's.

This is a simple hotel for a great price in a great location on the eastside. There are fun restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We went to Portland for the first time and stayed here to be close to various attractions. Was it the Ritz Carlton? No, but it was a nice clean and safe little motel. It looks like it was a motor inn back in the day that's had a freshening up. The staff was very nice and the location was fantastic,... More

The pictures on the website doesn't do this hotel justice. Upon arrival I was happily surprised to see that it has recently undergone recent renovations and had a new modern color scheme, brand new furniture in the lobby and my room, a flat screen tv, new window curtains, etc. The only thing still looking pretty ancient was the bed cover... Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great water pressure in the shower head. You really don't expect that in a lower budget motel. Friendly staff. Walking distance to all this area has to offer, craft beer gastro pubs, eclectic clubs, and don't pass up Voodoo Doughnuts!!!!! Ps, stayed at this place twice in 4 days so my opinion really counts. ;)

Stayed here previously. They have updated the lobby and furniture in the rooms. The hotel is in a hip area with a club next to the hotel. We heard the music and felt the bass until early in the am. People were also in and out of some of the rooms. The room was comfortable with a fridge and bath.... More

We were so pleasantly surprised by this little hotel! I had been hesitant to book this hotel for our impromptu weekend trip to Portland. The price seemed too low to be acceptable, especially for being so centrally located. When we arrived we were checked in by a very polite and friendly desk clerk. Everything on our reservation was correct. Our... More

I've stayed here a number of times, sometimes up to twice a year, and it's always the same experience. The proprietors/desk staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean if not fancy, and the over all experience is positive. It's tough to find anything cheaper in Portland that isn't a little scary for parking a motorcycle and one great... More

From the outside this place looks like a prison. Looks aren't everything though. The rooms are not fancy, but clean. The staff is very helpful and so nice. They go out of there way to help you and are sincere. The maids never interrupt and look at those door hangers. If you just need a place to stay with friendly... More

I stayed at this hotel in early July as it was the cheapest option on a number of booking sites. Given the price, the hotel is adequate. The check-in process was friendly and quick. The rooms were clean, if not completely modern. The bathroom fixtures, in particular, were from another decade, or century. Everything was clean and working, though. The... More
