First time to Portland. Great central location downtown within walking distance of everything I wanted but know that steeper than it looks. Clean, spacious and quiet rooms. Service from everyone is friendly and efficient. They all seem to enjoy what they do. Rainy weather kept me on hotel more than I wanted but it was very comfortable.

Nice rooms, clean. I would give a higher rating but...parking is expensive, and Wifi should be free. It is crazy to charge for internet. Even Hotel 6 has free Wifi! This is a great location, close to restaurants, the river park, and shopping. We had a "view " room, with a view right into the building next door. The staff... More

Dear valued guest, Thank you for taking time to review your recent stay. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the quality of your view when in your room. As a downtown location parking is costly, however we do find ourselves at a lower rate than our nearby competition. All Marriott hotels offer complimentary WiFi for all rewards members. Signing up... Nothing fancy but a clean place to stay and be able to walk into the heart of Portland. We stayed in a King room with a view, 16th floor. The view was okay, nothing special with half our view blocked by another building. But, at least being that high up, we couldn't hear the street noise, so that was good.... More

Nice clean rooms, decent size. Bar is small and does not serve after eleven (even residents) so if you've had a long day forget about coming back to the hotel bar. Feels more like a Courtyard than a Marriott.

Dear valued guest, Thank you for taking time to review your recent stay with us. please accept our apologies for the hours of our bar. I understand your frustration especially after a long day. Being a city center location we are a short walk to many fine establishments that offer alcoholic beverages until 2:30 am and our bar does have... More

Nice location in downtown Portland. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quite spacious for a city location. Lots of food and beverage options in the local area for lunch, a little more limited after the business district slows down at night.

Located centrally and close to shopping, dining and taverns. The lobby leaves a lot to be desired. Very few services and small but there is a big bar and restaurant on the second floor. There is a well set up security as entry to every thing requires room key. The rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. Parking... More

We have stayed here multiple times. Love that they have rooms for those with allergies. I am sensitive to scents, never have trouble here. Staff bends over backwards to help when needed, friendly and professional.

Portland can be a traffic nightmare, but we settled into the Marriott and were right in the center of downtown and didn't need our car. The staff is very good including valet, bell men, desk staff and restaurant workers. Our room was spacious and had nice views of the city. Fitness center is good sized. We had breakfast in the... Very nice downtown Marriott that is easily walkable to much of downtown. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean and nice. Location was a good safe area to walk around. Breakfast was really good, not free but good!
