This place is a great value in a fantastic location. One block from NW 23rd Street with numerous great restaurants, I'd recommend Thai Bloom which is literally a block and a half from the guesthouse. And don't forget Ken's Artisan Bakery, freshly made breads and croissants and great coffee. Cinema 21 is also close by with first run and independent...

This B&B is great on so many levels. I can't imagine a better location. The owners are so kind and helpful. The price i right. Being a woman, I was a little freaked out about sharing the bathroom but they do an amazing job to help you feel like you are the only one using it. Guests are respectful. I...

Portland was always going to steal a piece of my heart, but I wasn't expecting a humble guesthouse in Nob Hill to play such a significant part in that! I stayed in Room 1 with my dad (one single and one queen bed, I think?) - room was large, clean and comfortable. The shared facilities share the same qualities. We...

Initially we had trouble with our booking as we had to change rooms due to a lack of rooms but the customer service was great in helping us sort it out without much fuss. Found the place very easily, could get into the building and found that our room was being cleaned. Hung around and found a nice sitting corner,...

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Wonderful walking neighborhood. Room # 1 was bright and spacious with a high ceiling. Parking pass provided. Great restaurants and interesting shops nearby. Wifi. Would stay here again!

We booked into the Portland International guesthouse it was an easy booking we reserved room no 5 at the top of the house, surprisingly it was very quite and we hardly even saw any other guests during our stay. The room was nice and clean and the shared bathroom was also good. The breakfast was basic but that is all...

This place is nice and room is great, we love the place and hope we could visit again. Location is nice since it is so close to a lot of Portland attraction (Nob Hill & Pearl District). Room is clean and spacious, Bathrooms are shared though. Mind you that parking spot could be tight if you park your car on...

So glad to see more reviews, could not get in last time but referral was nice. This location and guests and management can't be beat for Portland. Everyone respects quiet time, so close to groc., restaurants, bakery, bagels, happy hours, etc. Quick walk from the light rail, trolley, etc. You do NOT need a car.

This is a cross between a sweet B&B and an upscale hostel. The rooms are nicely decorated with comfy beds and beautiful bedding. You share bathrooms but there are 3 of them and I never once met another person. You also share a kitchen where the hosts provide toast, coffee & tea, juices and other items depending on the day....

We just returned from a week long trip to Oregon and I am so glad we chose to stay here for 2 nights on our trip. We originally booked 1 night and loved it so much, we booked the last room for our final night stay in Portland a few days later. The host, Tim, was very friendly and welcoming....
