Typical Hampton inn, 5 minutes outside of the city center by car, large rooms, good bed, good but a bit noisy airco, tv, coffeemaker and an actually nice breakfast included. Free parking, outdoor pool, gym, efficient check in and check out. For a stayover on the way to somewhere, good option. Breakfast kit to go if you want also possible.
We spent one night in Pendleton on our way from the Pacific Northwest to Tucson. We always stay in Hilton Properties when available. This Hampton Inn was one of the nicest we’ve stayed in during our 8 week road trip. The room was number 320 and very spacious with a nice view. The two ladies at the front desk were very nice and when I checked in at 4pm the lady at the desk, she looks like a cross between Julia Roberts and Sigourney Weaver, said it’d be fine if I parked my bicycle in my room and she brought us up an extra pillow. The other lady worked the breakfast the next morning and was very nice, helpful and engaging. Basically a real 5 star stay which is typical of the Hilton brand, but even more exceptional at this Hampton Inn. Highly recommend.
I’ve been traveling to Pendleton on business every month for six months and tried all lodging options. The Hampton Inn has so far exceeded all expectations. To start: the staff, especially front desk crew are more than friendly and attentive. I had an odd interaction with a breakfast attendant that started out sad, but she just needed some validation, and once given, she perked up. From that point on, she made a point of engaging with all guests. I’m always happy when I see front line staff find joy in their job. It’s hard work. The room I was in was clean—cleaner than other hotel rooms in Pendleton—and the amenities appropriate for the price. Breakfast was fine if not made-to-order (go to Sharis’s down the road if you want that), and the fitness center and pool are better/cleaner than most options in the area. Overall, I’m glad to have landed at the Hampton Inn Pendleton.…
The hotel lobby and room were clean. Shower head did not work well. The breakfast is outdated not very many options. Rates were very high for Pendleton during midweek. Not a huge discount for being a Hilton Member. Front desk staff could be more friendly.
We stayed at the Hampton Inn Pendleton on our way to Lincoln city Oregon for our vacation. After we’d checked out, we discovered that our car battery was completely dead! Becky was on the spot, and called a local mechanic and had them on site shortly to jump start our car for free! I don’t know what we would have done without Becky’s timely assistance, she was great!
This is a 5 Star stay no doubt. A little pricey but well worth it on your travels after a long drive. The staff is very accommodating from the minute you walk in the door to check in as well checking out. Rooms are very clean, plenty of parking, Quite, Great complimentary full breakfast. Close to gas station and just minutes from Down Town and restaurants or fast food. I have stayed here several times, including without reservations. They have always found ways to accommodate me. I will always stay here when I am in Pendleton.
Pleasant room for travelers. The hotel was quiet and the room very comfortable, clean and well kept. Breakfast was very good and well attended by wonderful staff members, who made sure the coffee pot was full and buffet well stocked. I slept well and would recommend this hotel to others!
Candice was very helpful and patient while helping us correct our reservations. When no rooms were showing available in the Hilton app, Candice patiently took the time to figure out why we couldn't book a room. We went out to eat and upon arrival back at the hotel she had a room ready for us. Thank you Candice.
Rooms and facility beginning to look dated, AC and TV not working on a couple of occasions. Incompetent and poorly trained staff eclipses only by rude and condescending manager without customer service skill set. Never going back- there are much better options for hotels in town.
The price of this 1 King Bed room was an outrageous $250. Circumstances arose that had left us no other choices. Two days later the price for this room was $150. There were only basic cable channels on the television, no view or any printed material about local amenities, restaurants or hotel guide, not even a pen and paper. The "hot breakfast" consisted of turkey sausages and egg white wraps. If this had been an $80 or $100 dollar room, I wouldn't have expected anything more. However, for $250 this was abysmal.
