We arrived at the location and the attendant present during check-in was rude and emotionally void and acted as though our presence there was a nuisance. Once we finally got the key to our room, we walked in to a hot, stuffy, dirty room. There were multiple issues with the lighting: the bedside lamps were having immense difficulty powering on, and one of the bulbs on the vanity was flickering and making noise. The terminal for the light and fan in the bathroom were located outside of the bathroom. Furthermore, there was no evidence that housekeeping had been there prior to our arrival, since the floors were sticky and causing our socks and feet to blacken. The beds were harder than any bed I've slept in and during the three nights we stayed there, I could hardly get any meaningful rest. When the next day arrived, we visited their so-called breakfast options only to find prepackaged pastries and brown bananas, and there were no beverages provided aside of coffee. During the remainder of our stay, housekeeping never replenished the bathroom products such as toilet paper, soap, and fresh towels. Due to our experience during our stay at Travelodge, I will not recommend this facility to anyone. When we visit again, we will make it a point to stay elsewhere.…
We arrived on an evening of 90+ degree heat, got our key and found our room on the back alleyway of the building. There was very little parking available back there and we felt lucky to find a spot at the very opposite end of the building we were staying in. To get up on the sidewalk outside our room there was a very high curb to navigate, and as a handicapped person I had to enlist the help of my husband to get to our room. We unloaded our bags and stood out in the sweltering sun and tried to get into our room to no avail. Our key did not work, so my husband went to the office to let them know and they gave him another key. This key did not work either. On the third attempt the manager came and used his passkey when he could not get into our room either. He said the lock probably needed a new battery. He never came back to fix it, so we were unable to leave our room without getting him to let us back in! When we got into our room we were met by a swarm of flies! The AC was turned off so the room was sweltering, and the room had a strange and unpleasant smell as noted by my husband who never complains about such things. To be fair the room was large and the furniture was attractive, except for the thrift store chair in the corner that i would not even put my suitcase on. The bedding was sad and looked like it came from a seedy thrift store as well. As we settled in I noted that the probable source of the fly problem was a huge gap at the base of the door. It looked as though it had perhaps been kicked in at some point and never repaired properly. We waited a couple of hours for the manager to come fix the door lock before i attemped to call the front desk, but guess what?!, the phone did not work!!! We had planned to go to a nice dinner somewhere, but we settled on my husband going and getting burgers, and me staying with our belongings so we did not have to hassle with the door thing AGAIN!!! We ate, threw the bedding except for the sheets on the floor and slept. We left at first light and swore never again. We have traveled extensively and have never had so many things so wrong with our accomodations!!!…
The motel was exactly as expected, great location. Bed was surprisingly comfy. Hanging flowers a nice touch. We were in town for a music festival, could walk to the venue or the other direction to downtown
Overall the stay was very pleasant here for a one night stay. Not a lot of parking but we made it work. Best water pressure in the shower!!! Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Would stay again.
So grateful they were able to accommodate our last minute stop when we were tired and couldn't find anywhere to stay in any of the towns we were hoping to reach after our 12 hour drive. Thank you for a wobderfule stay.
Nice place to stay and friendly staff. The 1st room we stayed as reserved was two double beds put smelled like piss. So, the friendly staff moved us to a single Queen bed(no price change) as it was much better and felt it was a remodeled room(much nicer). But we were charged an extra $26.00 because I had my wife sign us in and they tell her since it was reserved with one adult that with two there was another charge! Well, when I register with one or two the invoice didn't change price at all. So, why did we get charged the extra $$$ ? Original bill was: Total for Stay $183.58 USD Then it went up to: Total for Stay $209.86 USD Then they tried to add another $12.00 per night on top of that! I went into the office about it and they took $10.00 off so the bill came to a total of: $219.86....big difference from $183.58 :(…
This little motel is situated in downtown Pendleton, directly across from City Hall. The room had a retro feel, was plenty spacious (included a nice-sized desk), clean, and (unusual in hotels/motels) well lit. The beds were comfortable (two queens) and the air temperature was easy to control and comfortable. The breakfast was nothing special, but we weren't expecting much for the price. If we had to list a negative, it would be that the AC unit let out a strange (but not super loud) noise every time it cycled off and there was another random sound coming from somewhere else in the building occasionally. Both were easily drowned out with the bathroom fan and a white noise app. Would definitely stay here again.
Great people who own the property. Would stay here again. Room was clean, appearance was great. The owners were very helpful in explaining the area. Next time I am in the area this is where I will be staying.
While the room was clean and in good shape, and the bed was comfortable, the neighborhood was a little sketchy. Also, although they advertised free breakfast on Priceline, there was no breakfast "not since Covid."
We arrived at 1am and the staff was very friendly. Room was clean with relatively new fixtures and furniture. We skipped breakfast to hit the road earlier. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would stay there again.
