If you see the property from the highway you may be inclined to keep driving. Don't be put off by the odd collection of buildings and trailers. It's a great community of high desert characters. Take a chance and stop, especially if you like hot springs. This historic spring has several outside pools and a large barn like building with...

Excellent hot springs. The cabin we stayed in was nice, nothing fancy. It didn't have a kitchen so we had to go to Paisley for meals, which was a little inconvenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful desert location for a hot spring soak. There's indoor pool and outdoor pools. The water is pretty hot at 100F plus. The place is rustic but don't let that deter you the hot springs themselves are wonderful. I camped while at Summer Lake. There wasn't any shade but plenty of place to camp and find your...

Anyone who wants a good soak this is the place for you. A bit rustic but laid back and great folks. Dry camp or rent a cabin... There is also a house for groups. Outside offers hot spring tubs they have added... We go every year and this year was our first stop on a Steens Mt trip. Best!!!

We had driven by Summer Lake Hot Springs many times until my husband and I finally decided to check it out. (honestly, it never really looked like anything special to us.) But my biggest regret is that we didn't stop by for the experience sooner! We had booked for an RV spot. The owner Duane was very friendly and helpful...

I have stopped here three times on the way back from Burning Man; once by accident and twice by intention. Each experience is different, but the theme remains the same: Incredible natural beauty, awesome hot springs experiences, funky post Burn gatherings, and mediocre amenities/service. We have always pitched tents and/or stayed in the camper (the latter of which is not...

If you are a Bonneville Hot Springs person, you will probably not like Summer Lake Hot Springs. But! If you are a Bagby or Breitenbush person, and get excited about the Wild West, you will love this place. The cabin was simple, clean, and had everything I needed (including screens, 2 fans, and good-smelling sheets, so I'm not sure what...

We made reservations for an rv site. Arrived at 9 pm to a really dark area. Not fun trying to find where we are supposed to go. No help from owners at all. All rv sites had huge puddles in them. Was feeling reluctant about our choice. After a nice soak and quiet nights sleep was better in the morning....

I wish I would have read the reviews before we went and dropped $70o for this dump. Tired to check n and had t hunt all over fr someone to help us. We could not get into our cabin without wading thru mud. The cabin was filthy and covers with mouse turds. The owner came to look and brought us...

We were excited to visit Summer Lake Hot Springs, had heard good things about it. We booked the Homestead (three of us), but when we walked in the place was full of flies and had a slight smell. When we got to the back bedroom the smell (something dead) and the flies were so bad we had to shut the...
