We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lightkeeper’s Inn. The view of Yaquina Bay from the rooms and joining deck are breathtaking, and the hospitality of the owners, Cheryl and Bill Lalack, make this Bed & Breakfast a cut above the rest. From the sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvres, special coffees and teas, and wonderful breakfast, who couldn’t feel pampered!

Newport, Rhode Island is famous for its multimillion dollar mansions. I was curious how Lightkeeper's Inn in Newport, Oregon would compare. I wasn't disappointed. No, it's not a mansion built by millionaires but it is a Haven of Rest for travelers along the Oregon coastline. The hospitality is outstanding. The facility is spotless and beautiful. We were provided with a...

One of the best Bed and Breakfast accommodations that we have stayed on our travels. Amazing views of Yaquina Bay, the hustle and bustle of the harbor, and the best breakfast you can find. Cheryl and Bill are like visiting family and they have all of the information you need to make your trip to the Oregon coast awesome.

We've returned to this wonderful home many times. Each and every time we've been met with "open arms" and a warm welcome. Cheryl produces quality, tasty food - Bill is accommodating and a genuine pleasure to speak with. The spectactular expansive window view of the busy harbor provides interesting viewing thru the binoculars they provide. We've stayed at other B&B...

We stayed 4 nights with Bill and Cheryl and felt like we were family as soon as we arrived. The views from every room are unbelievable and the breakfasts were far beyond our expectations. We used the Lightkeeper's Inn as a base while we hiked the area and found it to be convenient to everything we wanted to see. Clean,...

Our host and hostess, Bill and Cheryl, were so gracious as soon as their door was opened to us. As our daughter had the beautiful room across the hall from our beautiful room, we felt as we were in a private suite with an adjacent deck overlooking the beautiful Newport harbor. Cheryl spoiled us with homemade brownies upon our arrival....

We had the BEST time, even for just one night. Cheryl and Bill opened their home, hearts to us like we were family. The fellowship was wonderful, the rooms awesome and the views well worth the trip. We live in Oregon and will definately go back. We also had family in from Las Vegas and they loved it as well....

What a great gem in such a great beach town. The Lightkeepers Inn had a wonderful panoramic view of the bay (from every suite, the dinning room and the back deck). I really enjoyed the some of the little extras; from being able to do a little laundry after a day at the beach, bottled water and soda, keurig coffee,...

Bill and Cheryl were a true delight. Besides overly gracious hospitality (compared to other BnBs), they guided our visit by lending several ideas about the local restaurants, arts and crafts, and events (whale watching, beachcombing, etc.) They welcomed us with open arms (despite our late arrival due to appointments) and provided us with several amenities (fresh linens, water, coffee, tea,...

Of the several historical houses, beachfront hotels, B&B’s and—my best friend’s guest room—in which we slept on a recent road trip from SF to Seattle and back, this B&B was my favorite stop! Inspired and named for the innkeeper's ancestor who kept a light house in Puget Sound--and built upon a property long in her family--this B&B has history but...
