While we appreciate efforts to fix the multitude of things wrong with this hotel such as new toilets and sinks; it does not make up for filthy carpeting, dried urine on the walls in the bathroom, blood stains on the mattress, lamp shades which were torn and black stuff in the air conditioning unit, numerous stains and dried human fluids on the bedding, filthy and old pillows, sheets which have iron on patches, and graffiti on the bathroom door and on the headboard of the bed. We had to buy plastic to place over the bed and then buy our own bedding. We tried to get another hotel but everything was booked solid. It was a nightmare. Do not stay here.

I can't even ... One star above being homeless. I still feel nauseous. Had a reservation for 3 nights but no way I'm staying here for even a minute. The room looked dark, uninhabitable and outdated. Owners threatened to charge us even though we said they didn't live up to what we were sold.

Beyond awful. Filthy, stained carpets, door locks broken. The worst place I've ever seen! Was booked for 2 nights but departed after one. Do not stay here, ever!
I went to visit my daughter on her first day at University, this was the only hotel with a room available – now I understand why. I would far rather sleep in my car then ever set foot in this place again. Not only are the staff careless, but they could care less about anything. If a movie director wanted to cast him absolutely horrid motel room, all they would have to do would be to film at this ghastly place. It made the Bates Motel look like the Ritz Carlton in comparison. Learn from my mistake. I have never ever written a bad review before about anything.

I agree with the other reviews as this is the worst motel i have ever stayed at(well i did not really stay). Between people knocking on our door looking for drugs, the people partying on the sidewalks cooking food and drinking, we ended up not staying and we did not get our money back. I wish i would have read tripadvisor!

I wouldn't even rate this place as a 1. The managers are rude. They barely speak English. My grandson came to visit me, as they live in the city, and the managers saw him come in and tried to charge me for him to stay here. When I tried to explain that he wasn't staying, they couldn't understand what I was trying to say. The outlet in the bathroom does not work. They only have two phone lines, so when our phone was off the hook, they came and yelled at us. I would not recommend this place to anyone. $80 per night for slum.

The Casino and hotels in McMinnville were full or too high; found this hotel, just driving towards Portland. Didn't check online, first mistake. It was dirty, bathroom sink was broken, beds were old and you slide out, ran out of toilet paper (glad we had some in the car), and neighbors, who I think lived there, were a bit questionable. No bolt lock. I will not be going back. Ewww!

Location is great, very close to George Fox. The non smoking rooms stink like old stale smoke. Old carpet, walls splattered with who knows what, dirty, flys all over, manager walks around and trys to see what is going on in the rooms. People living in other rooms with dogs. This place would be the very last resort only. City of Newberg needs to get this place cleaned up. Such a clean and beautiful little university town, this does not fit well. YUK!

it's a standard budget hotel - of maybe the 1980's. (although the decor is nice, and freshly painted). But there's no desk, plugs for devices are hard to find, there's a stand-alone sink without a counter in the bathroom, and a physical key with a number on it for the rooms.
