We lost power due to the winter storm and stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. They were very flexible, personable and accommodating to our needs. We needed to extend our stay a couple of times not knowing when our power would be back on. Plus they were able to move us to a pet friendly room so we could bring our dog. Both rooms were very clean and they even put a tealight candle wax warmer in the room that smelled wonderful. Nice touch! Thank you Kery, Bala and housekeeping staff for your attention to detail and great hospitality!

My husband and I stayed at the Travelodge for one night. Most of the Newberg hotels had no vacancy, so we stayed there out of necessity. We were not expecting much. Boy were we wrong! We were both pleasantly surprised. Our king room and adjoining bath were both incredibly clean. The sheets and pillows were fresh and the room was very quiet. The only noise came from the heating system cycling on and off.
A light breakfast was included in our stay. The breakfast room was clean and there was an adequate amount of food available (yogurt, breakfast burritos, donuts, cereal, etc.).
One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible staff. They were not only friendly but also very helpful. We would definitely recommend the Travelodge in Newberg if you are looking for low cost, but comfortable hotel.

Dear Sham, Thank you very much for the wonderful feedback. We are extremely happy that you experienced the unexpected by staying in our hotel. We are overwhelmed and happy how the place is very clean and refreshing to you guys. We are proud to say that all our housekeeping staff are with us for the last 15 years and above and we never fired anybody so far. They do not need supervision , or breathing over the neck. They do their jobs and they know what they are doing. and they know what the guests expect from them. Sorry about the air conditioner. We every year remove each a/c and get it serviced , wash and lubricate. Still some of them makes a little noice while changing the cycle. We are extremely happy that you have noticed the hospitality of our staff. We have some school going children working and they are dedicated and in spare time study and complete their homework. This hotel is an exceptional value for what they offer. I've stayed in 5 star hotels where the staff has not treated me with such warmth and kindness as this group. You are more like family than a guest. IF you need anything just let them know. I was in wine tasting with my girlfriend doing a girls trip. I needed a driver for our trip who we would feel safe and be comfortable with. The general manager referred me to Javier who turned out to be a gem. Can't thankyou enough! When my friend and I realized we had purchased perhaps a few more bottles than we should, our luggage was starting to go over the 50lb limit. Once again, I asked for a scale to weigh the bags with. They not only gave me their bathroom scale(of course she sanitized it) but the staff weighed all 4 suitcases for us.
The room I had was spacious, 2 queen beds with a couch. The mattress/bedding is extremely comfortable. The room was quiet, even though they were sold out. The breakfast was great. A little something for everyone, meticulously maintained. There were quite a few families staying at the hotel. I would highly recommend for families of all ages. WORD OF CAUTION: If you like to "party", especially late at night this IS NOT where you want to be.

Our room was booked in advance 199.44 with tax. We expected to pay an additional 20 dollars for the dog. When we arrived the nonsmoking room stunk of cigarette smoke. Two of our party members get migraines from cigarette smoke. We asked for another room. We were told “we can’t control what our guests do in our rooms” and were told there were no other dog rooms and we couldn’t use a non dog room. We were told the best western had a king room available which was managed by the same company. We took the king room but the manager wouldn’t let us have it at the 199.4 rate “because you didn’t book ahead and this is a last minute reservation”. We explained what happened at travelodge. BW’s manager (also the manager of travelodge) would not help us. There were four of us for a king bed (only king rooms are dog friendly?) they charged for a rollaway and said we couldn’t have 2. We sent the rollaway back when we remembered we had a queen air bed with us but had a miserable nights sleep for 305 dollars at best western on an air bed. Our whole party has vowed never to use travelodge or best western ever again because of the inflexibility of not allowing us to use a double queen room because of our dog. (Dog is a 10 pound Maltese that is considered hypoallergenic because of lack of shedding and dander. We have never heard her bark and she wears diapers in hotels and slept in a kennel). A couple of things would have helped make our stay better. If travelodge had been more flexible on their dog policy or offered to deodorized the room for us. OR if best western had offered a double queen or let us have a rollaway at no cost or especially if they had discounted our rate down to what we were paying at travelodge. Both hotels called the manager (the person managed both travelodge and BW) but neither front desk person could get the manager to accommodate our needs.
We blame the manager for our miserable night and for the extra 100 dollars we had to pay out of our travel budget.

Dear travel funds do sun, Both the hotels though managed by same manager are different companies. One can not expect so sell a BMW at the price of Ford though they are sold by the same dealer. Quality, quantity differs. The BW hotel did not have two beds and they charged only $15.00 for the dog instead of $30.00 and rollaway $15.00 Instead of $30.00. That a clean saving of $30.00. His review is his personal opinion. Thank you for the feedback explaining the difference between two hotels. Our front desk offered to deodorize the room and you guys refused to accept. You guys used the both room, sink etc and we could not even rent the room on the night. One of you put up an act of serious headache in the lobby for staying in the room for few minutes. Our front desk understood. However we are extremely sorry for your experience and we apologize for no mistake of ours. As the hotel is different brands they have different rates. Hot tub was clean, hot, great. Breakfast was, free, plentiful, clean, people very courteous. Coffee was good.
Room was quiet, clean, comfortable. TV had all the channels, water was hot in the shower with plenty of water pressure.

The reception staff were exceptionally friendly greeting us when we came through the lobby, remembering which room we were in and asking if we had everything we needed. Also made friendly conversation about our trip and the area. The room and facilities were very clean and had clear signage for COVID mask protocols. I felt safe travelling and staying here during the pandemic. The beds were very comfortable.

Housekeeping was very polite and helpful but LOTS of ants in room despite keeping ti clean from food containers etc. Fridge leaked and got socks wet- had to put the bath mat down to avoid walking in it. Bed was super soft and hurt back. Toilet had to be held for 15 seconds in order to flush. internet so so. Heater super noisy and didn't work very well. Will not stay at a travel lodge again- best western probably next time- about same price...

This hotel was very clean and we felt very comfortable staying there during the COVID-19 pandemic. The management and staff were very friendly. Nice rooms and comfortable beds and pillows. The hotel made several accommodations for the pandemic such as an outdoor check-in window, masks required while in hallways, etc. We felt safe

We were in town for a competition in McMinnville. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The mattress was a little more firm than I prefer, but still received a restful night sleep. It was nice to be able to grab some toast and bagels from breakfast to start the day out right. The hot tub was nice after the long drive and the pool was a bit cold, but I understand they just refilled it the day before so that makes sense. Overall, a great stay!

Dear Quinn, Thank you very much for taking time to review our little hotel and share the review in a public site.We are happy that you had a wonderful stay and you are so understanding about the beds. We have a comparable breakfast with other hotels in the area. None of the hotels cook their food in the premises and all is frozen items is heated, and not cooked. We have almost hot breakfast , if we call the other holiday inn express and best western breakfast as hot breakfast. We had an issue with our pool due to some mischief of young people suing the pool and we had to resurface the pool and fill it again. Hence the inconvenience . Extremely sorry for that. Incredible staff and facility! They made all sorts of efforts to make my family feel welcome and comfortable. I have been traveling with my elderly Mom and the staff insured that she was given a room that was easily accessible as well as being close to all their amenities. Not to mention allowing us to check in a few hours ahead to make sure my Mom was in her room and comfortable. The room was incredibly clean and not only did we start our trip by 1st staying at this hotel but we also ended up booking it again at the end of our trip. I highly recommend this hotel! You won’t be disappointed!
