This is my second visit to Steiger Haus. The rooms are cozy (you can choose from 5 different size rooms. The breakfast is excellent and Susan and Dale are wonderful hosts. Oregon has some great wines and you could get a glass or a bottle of wine here. There isn't a bar, but an honor system. I have stayed upstairs... More

For the room rate of $130 well worth it. Pros: very friendly service, great breakfast, beautiful views, strong water pressure, toiletries amenities, clean towels and sheets daily, Complimentary Wi-Fi, location great for college and downtown access. Cons: 80's Decor, furniture and fixtures, needs paint and wall paper repair.

A friend and I spent 2 nights at Steiger Haus and found it to be a pleasant experience. Susan and Dale were gracious and had great suggestions for things to do, places to go and good places to eat. We stayed in the twin bed room on the third floor and found it very comfortable except for some street noise... More

We stayed for one night in August so as to take in the Saturday night wine/arts walk that was downtown ( a disappointment but that is another story). We found Susan, the hostess, very friendly and pleasant. We only saw her briefly upon checkin as she herself was heading out for the evening. We met her husband briefly at breakfast... More

I stayed here last week in hopes of relaxing and enjoying the nice weather and scenery. When I arrived, the hostess was very friendly. I wanted to take a nap after a long trip from east coast only to find that the back decks were being power washed! So there was no rest. This not only happened on my arrival... More

As someone else had said...like staying at grandma's house. Not a luxury hotel (spotless with detailed amenities) but will stay here again because the hosts were so lovely. Walking distance to the main drag in town (3rd Ave) and 10 minutes drive from terrific flight and space museum and indoor water park (with a freakin' plane parked on top!). Comfy,... More

We stayed for a week and found this bed and breakfast to be pleasant and much better than a hotel. It was like visiting your grandma at her house. When we asked for a healthy diet the owner disregarded our request and kindly told us that "We don't have to eat it all she will not be hurt or disappointed... More

This is nice and close to downtown McMinnville,we walked into town for dinner ( 5 min). Our hostess is very pleasant and helpful, breakfast of eggs benedict with a fruit yogurt dish was very good. The decor and furnishings are a bit dated, but our room was large and the bed comfortable. For $150 per night, we felt it was... More

We enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The property is a bit dated, but the staff makes up for the aging edifice! The property owner takes all reservations by phone (not by computer) - which we thought was nice, since so many hotels and B&Bs do most reservations by computer. We even received a confirmation post-card about a week before... More

My husband and I stayed with Susan here for three nights while enjoying the Willamette wine country. She made us so comfortable and she was helpful with restaurant and wine info - she has a much appreciated great sense of humor. The "apartment" downstairs was so roomy and had everything you need - a fridge, a microwave, dishes, glasses, coffee... More
