We stayed in four Comfort Inns on our Oregon trip. We will be staying in more in the future as we were impressed with the appearance, comfort, and cleanliness. They all seemed new, with all the conveniences such as many electrical outlets and charging stations. The beds and high quality sheets were very comfortable. This had the same quality. But the management seemed less caring. The gardens around the motel were full of weeds. Most Comfort Inns were taking COVID precautions and had a breakfast bag. Here the precautions were less apparent. What breakfast that was available was in the breakfast room where customers were milling about, at least one without a mask. It did appear that many people were eating next door in the café instead. MdMinnville is a beautiful city and we enjoyed our visit, spending little time in the room. It was comfortable, but we were less impressed with the management. We doubted extra sanitizing was done in the room.…
We stayed here for 3 nights while enjoying some wine tasting in the area. The location works great for that aspect of the trip, unfortunately everything else was pretty disappointing. Our first room overlooked a moss-covered roof and smelled of smoke so we moved to a different slightly smaller room which was fine. It wasn't very clean though. There was food under the bed from the previous tenant and the coffee pot still had the old filter and grounds in it. The overall property could use some cleaning and upkeep. From the trash in the parking lot to the dirty hallways, etc, etc. Used the exercise room 3 days in a row and the hand-sanitizer dispenser was empty each time, the water cooler was empty 2 of the days and the clock in there was never correct. Overall, a disappointing stay.…
We checked in on Friday night. Quinten was the kindest young man!!! Very informative! Room was super clean beds were super comfy!! I was very glad hot tub and pool were open. Was a great weekend visit!
The room rate was good, bathroom was clean, and there wasn’t a typical “hotel smell” and I was excited to have a great room for my one night stay. The bummer was, in the morning i made a cup of coffee, did some work, then and hour later left my cup by the coffee maker. When I came out after my shower I was going to make another cup of coffee, until I saw a cockroach in my cup. I packed and departed... taking my cup with the roach to the front desk staff. That took this 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ down.
We stayed here based upon the good reviews. The hotel looked nice. There was rarely anyone at the front desk, but there was one nice lady who helped us on occasion. The biggest issue was the lack of Covid precautions. Many people were not wearing masks and it was definitely not reinforced. No hand sanitizer anywhere in sight. Breakfast "buffet" was open...people walking everywhere, eating in a busy room, touching all the food servers, toasters, packets, etc. I'm not sure what the restrictions are in this county, but we've been traveling through Oregon for 2 weeks and this was the first time I felt uncomfortable. Room looked mostly clean ...then we found a big water bottle under the edge of the chair, so obviously not cleaned well. We were planning on adding a couple days to our stay, but ended up going elsewhere. …
very frustrated by the lack of leadership and care by the manager, dirty rooms, hot tub jets not working properly and the breakfast just isnt good. feels like a re branded motel 6. the women at the front counter hardly know what they're doing.
The people were very friendly and what was so great is that they were able to keep the breakfast room open with social distancing and packaged food. Because of this, we chose this motel rather than the other one in town which only offered grab and go. Thank you to the staff at this motel that offered sit down eating during these times.
Super clean, up to date, well maintained, excellent service and family friendly. Stayed with our 15 & 11 year olds. Even during Covid, we felt safe and well taken care of. Front desk staff were super friendly and manager Trina went above and beyond to make our stay great!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
Value priced and conveniently located. Clean and comfortable beds. Nice pool and hot tub area. Several food choices nearby. I am often critical of Comfort Inn's but this one is nice. I would stay here again!
I checked at the Best Western - regular king room - $140. Decided to check with the Comfort Inn - $107 for king suite. This is a larger room with a separate sitting area. I also like the fact that the sink is in the bathroom - not out in the living area. The shower head had three great settings. There were plenty of outlets for charging devices - even a USB port. The breakfast is amazing - full fare. the ONLY thing I didn't like was the heat/AC system. Some hotels are getting the memo that a "fan only" setting should be included. Overall - great value.
