Very convenient to the quaint walkable historic downtown area (shops, tasting bars, and restaurants). The entrance is easy in/out with a code. Parking is a nice perk! The hotel itself is exactly as described. Zero surprises - renovated historic building. It is cute and has everything you need. Well appointed rooms that maximize every inch of the tiny spaces. Could use a larger bar of soap and a make up mirror. Appreciated the mini fridge for our drinks. Otherwise, didn’t use the kitchenette but it was great to have the space. We slept with white noise to minimize the sounds from the neighbors and had no issues. Recommendations for food in the guest book/binder were very helpful (loved “wildwood cafe” for comfort food breakfast).
The location is great and the price is right. We loved the new restaurant HIFI just below us. It's a very small intimate space . The only complaint is the bathroom is between the entry room & the bedroom.
I can't say enough great things about Douglas on Third. McMinnville itself is such a fun place, but having a great place to stay right in the middle of it all is the best. The contactless check in process was so smooth. I never had any issues, but if I had I felt confident I'd be able to reach them. The room was perfect - great size, and the bed was one of the best I've ever slept in in a hotel! I had Unit 14 which is at the end and was super quiet. Not only was the hotel great, but getting to explore the town a bit (even when there on a Monday) and meeting locals, drinking local wine, and eating some amazing food, just made me so thankful I stopped there on my trip. I will definitely be back, staying at Douglas on Third, and taking in more that McMinnville has to offer!
We loved everything about our stay here! The location is perfect for walking to all the great restaurants and shops 3rd Street has to offer. The room (#4) was super cute, super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There was easy parking in the back and we had no problem with noise. The instructions for entry were very clear and easy. We will definitely stay here again!
Amazing location with many restaurant options within walking distance. Very cute and quiet location. Extremely comfortable bed. Easy access to parking, entrance to building and room. Would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic time.
We were very happy with our stay here. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon and left Friday morning. Entry was very easy. Details on how to enter were fantastic. We were celebrating a birthday and friend called ahead and asked for a bottle of sparkling to be placed in the fridge for us and this request was met. One time during our stay we needed more bottled water. There are instructions on how to get that or more towels or anything else you may need, and everything came as we would expect it to. Very clean. Comfortable bed. We were not bothered by any street noise. It was the middle of the week so I’m not sure if it would be louder on the weekend but I do not think it would given the location of Douglas on 3rd. We also felt this location was very safe. They also have a great shared sitting area that we spent one evening enjoying the music and having a drink to ourselves. You are right on 3rd street so you are walking distance to everything you would want in town. We never had an issue with parking in the lot provided. We were out during the day and usually back by 5:30/6. The lot was full in the morning so I’m not sure if we came back late if we might have to find street parking, but there seemed to be plenty of that if needed. I would highly recommend Douglas on Third and if we find our way back to town we would stay here again.…
Nice room, well appointed, Great bed, very nice linens and mattress. The location was great, and I was worried about noise, but no issue. Might be different with a room on the exterior of the building. Good communication, accommodating. Thx for everything!
My girlfriend and I had a nice 2-night stay at Douglas on Third. You probably won't have any interaction with staff during your stay, but we were provided in advance with all of the codes and other info we needed to check in and get situated. Free parking is furnished behind the building. The small hotel is located on Third Street, which is the main drag in McMinnville. Lots of restaurants. shopping, and wine tasting rooms are pretty much at your doorstep. The room was quiet even though our windows fronted Third Street and it had everything we needed, though space was a bit tight with our large suitcases. There's also mini kitchen for those who want to do their own cooking. A bit of a quirk is that the bathroom was situated between the bedroom and the sitting room, so you have to pass through it to get to the bedroom. Despite the petite size of the room, we had a nice stay and would come back again.…
Super cute, chic rooms in a perfect location in downtown McMinnville. You can walk to all the restaurants, boutiques, wine tasting rooms, yoga. The decor is chic and fun. Rooms are comfy and accommodating. The goat milk soap is a fav! We loved exploring and learning about this great little town!
We stayed three nights at the inn in room 2. It’s good size for two adults and has a small homey feel. The location is great, right in town and close to everything. The sheets are nice and it has plenty of kitchen items for breakfast and snacks. There are other pillows in the closet for comfort options. The only down side are small steps in the living room and bedroom that can make you trip! Their complimentary wine tasting on Friday is great and their area recommendations are helpful.
