I recently stayed at the Lodge at Belknap Hot Springs. It was pleasant; roomy, clean, comfortable, although a bit dated (oh, & the door & lock on room #4 is very loose. I felt like someone could have easily pushed the door open). My room overlooked the river & the outdoor eating area so I was able to sit out...

Beautiful doesn't say enough for the gardens and forest surrounding the lodge, cabins and RV areas. If staying here you must walk across the foot bridge, wander through the woods and look for the Secret Garden. Recommend you bring your own food. Grill on site for hamburgers.

Belknap was a great experience. More geared for couples, it was just the right vibe. We started off actually getting lost on beautiful walking trails trying to find the "secret" garden. The journey took us down to the river, which was picturesque. Be prepared to walk, and the trails were a bit muddy from some recent rain, but it wasn't...

Belknap Hot springs, as of this review still has no designated parking for the disabled. We told them about this a month ago after taking my brother-in-law there and finding no place to park. Managers called us back and said signs were going up that week. A month later no signs and we called the county and will call the...

I want to begin that I never leave a negative review. But after being nickled and dimed at this place had to say what is happening there. Gorgeous place to stay. Well manicured..great idea but the staff and customer service is less to be desired. From check in to check out...laundry list of issues. From check in..given the wrong spot...had...

The room was well maintained. Hot springs were very relaxing. The grounds and gardens were beautiful. This is a must see/stop location. I loved the fact that this location is about the outdoors. This is not a chain hotel. This hotel has quality and comfort that you don't find in a chain. The continental breakfast has fresh fruits also in...

Oh poor, poor Belknap... I read your reviews (mainly on a different ranking site) after already making our reservations. They were terrible! So we came without expectations. And I ask myself, could you exist without High Country Expeditions? Yes, your location is beautiful... but our room! The tacky fisherman art (lamps made out of a fishing basket and net?), the...

we stayed overnight during a last-minute bicycle trip from bend, oregon. only space left was a cabin (#4). pros: beautiful site; especially enjoyed walking on the trails on the property. the secret garden was very unique. there were flowers planted in many places on the property. the AC worked well--it was a very hot visit. cons: no TV channels available...

I don't know why this place only has 3 stars. For what it is, it is solid. Some foljs have said the place is "run down" but I don't agree with that at all. It is not a five star luxury resort, so expectations need to be realistic. Our lodge room is basic but comfortable and the bathroom is huge...

This is like the parable of the blind men and the elephant-- it depends on what part you are feeling. It is a hot springs, lodge, cabin, RV, and tent resort. We had RV spot #3, right on the river. Trouble is, #'s 1, 2 and 4 were a family reunion. Their spots were so overbooked (6-8 each?) they couldn't...
