Great spot. Arrived on motorcycles . Kinda a cross between a B&B and motel. We got there, owner had placed our names on respective rooms with keys in the door. Large common room/kitchen for meals, along with gas BBQ outside. Great outside patio with table/chairs. A few feet to the water feature where deer were accessing water. Rooms simple but clean and comfortable. Never did meet the owner, but permit guest Anthony was great to talk to (he put in the water feature). Lots of provided breakfast items in fridge and breakfast area. Pub and dinner spot in walking distance.

Seriously, one of the best places our family has stayed in a long time! Nice, spacious room for our family of 5, with outdoor decks to grill, have a drink, or read a book. I watched deer walking around the property both mornings we were there. Nice indoor area to hang out in, as well as a kitchen and laundry. Well-kept, and best of all, super affordable. Awesome!

Wow, for this little town the owners have gone above and beyond! We enjoyed our cute, cozy room! It had everything we needed! We were pleasantly surprised with how good breakfast was in the morning as well. We have gotten so used to no breakfast or prepackaged breakfast from covid but this was not that! The morning temperature was great to enjoy our meal in the little garden. The owner was kind and friendly and let us take ice and an extra garbage bag with us for our travels. Would highly recommend!

We were there in October, and it was lovely to have a warm bed and hot shower waiting for us at the end of a chilly day. The hot cocoa and numerous coat hooks for wet gear was especially appreciated, the room wasn't fancy but it was well-thought out, all the things I actually wanted were ready to hand. The self-serve breakfast bar downstairs was available at sunrise, with fresh-ground coffee, and we were very glad of it since none of the places in town opened before 8 a.m. (we wanted to be on the river before then). We shared a pleasant breakfast with fellow lodgers who were also up before sunrise.

Great value for your dollar. A clean comfortable room with two twin beds, and a very good price considering the area. Shower is good, has AC, a very nice common room where couches and a reading area are available along with a fully equipped kitchen with a 24 hour continental breakfast. Hot and cold cereals, Toast, english muffins, bagles, and yogurt. Can't go wrong here.

We always stay here when we raft the Deschutes each summer. It's a very small Lodge, close to the river. The rooms are modest, but always clean and the owner's are always helpful and quick to respond. They offer a communal living room and kitchen for guest use, and stock a nice variety of continental breakfast options. Will keep returning!

This is not a huge place but the owners have huge hearts. It is my regret that we didn't get to complete our stay.We got to our room took a quick nap anticipating being out late. the previous night there had been a lightning strike that had started a wild fire . While we were out the fire grew from 2000 acres to over 8000. When we arrived there were fire apparatus in the parking lot and hose being laid out. I contacted Mike the owner and told him ,because of the fier we were not going to stay.. I told him we would pay for the lodging and He absolutely refused payment of any charges. We fully intiend to go back and complete our stay in the near future.

room was totally ready after our river raftin' experience, clean, great service, when i had a few questions, it was answered promptly. location is very convenient, with a restaraunt and store with-in walking distance. a great view of the river -n- yeah, the hwy #197 bridge. the grounds are well kept. would recommend others to stay here. i was able to find this lodging from the all star river rafting web-site, its not listed on the typical travel sites, 1 of our guys in our group wasnt able to find it conventionally, so he ended up staying in dufur, which is far away.

A perfect place to stay and continue to enjoy the beauty of the area after river rafting. Large common area where you can fix your own breakfast or mingle if you have a large group. Lovely yard and decks and hosts.
