The sign on the motel says San Dune MOTEL, not INN, which is more accurate. It's one of those motels you park in front of your door (if you're lucky). There are about 11 rooms, all different sizes and with different amenities. We had 10B, queen bed, table, chairs. It was fine, except the mattress was too soft for me...

Unfortunately we were not impressed with these accommodations. The room needs updating. Old worn out furnishings and a very soft mattress and two skimpy pillows. The worst part was the handyman that barged into our room to fox a broken sink and he didn't knock because the owner said no one was in the room!

This is by far and away the best place on the whole Oregon coast to visit if you like quiet and peace. The San Dune Inn is quiet and clean and many rooms have their own kitchen. It is dog friendly which is a must for us! Our stay has always been amazing. The owners are friendly and nice and...

After another motel down the road lost my reservations, I was lucky enough to snag a room here when everything else was full. The owner, Brian, was very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable with all my confirmation numbers. When we arrived, it was raining, but we were able to check in a bit early - a godsend when...

Great for dogs because they love them there. It's situated about 3-4 blocks from a great, off-leash beach. However, the rooms are fairly plain are walls are thin. They offer a nice selection of free Videos and DVD, as well as board games. Small refrigerator and microwave are handy for breakfasts or lunches in the room.

We have been staying at San Dune Inn for nearly 10 years. We visit the place at least a few times a year and we've brought some friends and family with us. Our dogs love the place and they probably think it is our beach house. Brian is very kind and nice, and he always welcome us with a warm...

We were camping at Nehalem, which we have done for years, and finally reached our fill of dirt, cold, constant smoke in the air and noisy neighbors. My friend stayed here the prior week and I got the name and address from her (thanks Lucile!) There were 3 of us and two dogs. We were a stones throw from Main...

This place had pretty decent ratings and I am still trying to figure it out. It is average at best- The proprietor though friendly enough was a bit eccentric. The rooms were very basic and the pretty cheap feeling. It was clean but towels were on the thin side. Wifi was like dial up. I would give it a 2.5...

The pictures accompanying the descriptions of this place do not do it justice. It is very cute, and beachy. Dog and family friendly. Brian, the proprietor,is British and quite a character. There are bikes guests can use as well as all sorts of beach stuff. The funky lobby was filled with books you can borrow and I left one there for the collections. I...
