Me and my husband went to the historic anchor inn for our honeymoon. When we arrived we seen the cute little inn and thought it looked nice oldish but nice. We went inside for check in and were greeted by the friendly staff, we paid up front at check in which was nice cause that meant no stupid hidden charges....

This is like spending the night in someone attic only completly dust free and well lit. I spent the majority of my time there exploring every little quirk and bit of art, while still having the convienence of a modern hotel. Every square inch has some sort of visually interesting bit of art. The floors and halls looked like something...

I first found this place by chance and it left an incredible impression on me!There is no place like this anywhere else! One of the most pleasant surprises on the Oregon Coast with so much to offer!Unique and wonderful,an exciting variety of rooms to stay in and all the the little "extras "that leave a great impression and make you...

Quirkiest inn you'll find! And the best breakfast, bar none. We were treated to scrumptious pork breakfast enchiladas one morning and wild caught salmon and eggs the other; choice of these or their yummy signature pancakes. If one serving wasn't enough, you got as much as you could hold! No phone or TV in the cabin suites. Instead we played...

I booked on line through travelocity (I think), the price was right... But when I got there, I was pleasantly surprised. This place has character, it is full of antiques and your bedroom ceiling has a special surprise... It is guaranteed to make you smile. By the way the breakfast was great & MOSTLY the people are wonderful! Try it!

We stayed one night here. We stayed in cabin number 4 "the bright color room" This place has a very unique vibe to it, made for a fun night. No network tv, but plenty of dvds to choose from. Awesome breakfast too! Will for sure be back!

We love the Historic Anchor Inn. Its a regular 2-3 day stop on our annual motorcycle trip to the Oregon Coast. Kip, the owner, has done a marvelous job of filling the premises (inside and out) with collectibles, antiques and unique conversation pieces. Unique perks like free popcorn and DVD videos, cupcakes & cookies at the front desk make this...

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a unique, quirky motel. It is not a cookie cutter motel run by a big corporation. It's small, old, and packed with antiques, collectibles and items of historical interest. The room we were in was smallish, but fine for two people - as long as you watched where you were walking. There's no...

This was one of quirkiest Inns we've ever stayed at! Despite staff looking a little flustered when we first arrived at the Inn, they were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcomed. We got the two bedroom "dog suite" which means that every knick knack, figurine, painting, picture in the room (and there were plenty) represented some breed of dog....
