Detailed Reviews
Just a quick overnight trip. Our room was nicely updated. Modern decor. Comfortable beds and great pillows. Midweek stay in January. Hotel was not empty but still extremely quiet. Check in was a breeze and everybody at the front office made it so painless. Even forgot a toothbrush and they had a complimentary one. Rooms are very close to the ocean so the views were wonderful and the beach access is very close. Just down a flight of steps. The property is very convenient because it is not overly large. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a very nice, updated hotel right on the beach! The view from our third floor room was incredible. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was updated with nice touches, like the toilet / bidet and touch lighted mirror. The only negative was the creaky floor. We were concerned for the people in the room below us every time we walked across the floor. We would definitely stay here again.

Newly renovated and right on the beach, this little spot is a great value. Our room was modern and spotlessly clean. All rooms are oceanfront and the huge picture window lets in lots of light and a gorgeous ocean view. We were able to bring our pug with us, which was a plus. Staff was friendly. Lots of nice outdoor space for lounging and watching waves and seabirds. All in all a super value for our two night stay.

Room was dirty with hair on the toilet and on the bed.
There was also a wet used face towel on the sink.
Upon speaking with the very rude front office lady, she told us there were no rooms available and we couldn't get our money returned.
They are also spraying for bugs in the rooms too as we were approached when we exited our room and the employee asked where the bugs were that needed sprayed.
When we asked for our money back, she started yelling at us and threatening us.
She interrupted us many times while yelling for another employee to come help her argue.
At that point, just wanted our money back.
The other employee then told us we were crazy and off our rocker.
Finally we got our money back and as we were leaving the motel, the other employee told us to get the hell out of here and threatened to punch us with a bug sprayer nozzle then call the cops.
They are seriously crazy here and the worst I have ever been treated.
Nasty people, nasty rooms. Do not stay here.

The staff is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the views are wonderful. If you are headed for the Oregon Coast, I highly recommend Sailor Jacks in Lincoln City. Ground level rooms each have a private deck so you can enjoy a sunset or your morning coffee. This place is great.

I reversed a Gueen Kitchenete on the 3rd floor, I specifically asked if there was an elevator and the person said yes, I asked if there was a complimentary breakfast because we had just stayed at the Coho Inn in Lincoln City and the accommodations were great. Upon arrival at Sailor Jack after they ran my card it became clear that there was no elevator. We're an older couple with disabilities and there was no way we could pack up everything we brought. I complained and asked for a refund and said we would go somewhere else and he refused. He said he would have our stuff brought up in 45 minutes. A woman ove rheard the interaction and offered the assistance of her 5 young children to help us which I gladly accepted. She reserved her room after she was told that there was a pool there. She was trying to find another place too. After finally getting settled into the room the "big picture window" was fogged over, rented a couple of movies but the DVD didn't work, had a little non English guy in the room for a half hour with new batteries and remotes and it still didn't work..they refunded the $5 fir the movies. Went to microwave some popcorn and the room went black, tripped a breaker I guess...they didn't like hearing about that. The room phone didn't work and the manager was very rude. I've disputed my card charges and they don't seem too worried about because they probably go through this all the time. The main thing was lying to me about the elevator and then denying that they lied. They never apologized about anything

I'm trying to find something new to say. Of course the front desk service is wonderful, the view fabulous just like has been said many times. We are on the road from Alaska in our Mercedes Sprinter camper van and occasionally need a hotel break. This is the best. I walked into the room and my stress flew out the window as I eased into the comfortable chair in front of the window letting in the sea air. The bathtub. In remodels, the bathtub is often non existent or uncomfortable. Not so here. In addition, the non skid bottom is invisible but the best ever (according to my retired shop teacher husband who is appalled at the slipperiness ofmost shower/tub floors.

This hotel doesn't have quite as high of a review score as I would like, but I opted for it because it seemed to suggest a recent renovation. It was a good decision. The hotel sits along a sandy beach with some small rocks. There's easy beach access and good views from our upper floor room. The room was quite spacious and definitely had a recent renovation. Everything was modern and well kept. They do offer a small breakfast, but do not expect terribly much there. This was one of the least expensive oceanview rooms I could find in the area and I felt it was great value. I would recommend this as a value pick for an oceanfront room.

I don’t usually public bash businesses but this place had us sleep in a bed that had blood, urine and what looked like a fecal stain. When I calmly addressed it with the front desk I did not receive an apology and was basically blown off. After my many attempts to contact the owner, Benny Shin, I was lied to by the two employees there, who really should get their story straight. But after no help or customer service, here I am. Do not stay at Sailor Jacks Lincoln City. I was blamed for the bodily fluid and it was not us. We had no cuts or scratches. Finding blood in the bed after sleeping in it was disgusting. The maid clearly did not change the bedding or even look at it. It’s even on the curtain. Not to mention all the other stains found after pulling up the sheet…washed bed bug spots! From now I will strip the bed before sleeping in a hotel room no matter how much the room costs. Thanks for ruining our anniversary Sailor Jack’s, I will never forget you.

We enjoyed our stay here. Hubby stayed 1 night standard queen and I joined him for 3 nights in a deluxe king. We were on the second floor. Room was very clean and had been updated. Bed was a little on the soft side, but everyone has their likes. Nice assortment of pillows. The gas fireplace made things cozy. The chairs in front of the window could be moved around which was nice.
Yes, it is an older property, and you can tell the owner is fixing up things. If you want super fancy/high end, this isn't the place for you. The window in our room has failed and was cloudy in areas. But it is the beach, and the salty air loves to destroy windows and such. I would stay here again. Everyone I dealt with on the phone and in person was very helpful and nice. We plan on returning next year!

I stayed in a room upstairs and it had windows that opened (no screens) but no patio/deck. It was a short walk around the building to the beach access trail. It was my week-end getaway from hubby/kids/work/reality and I had an amazing time. Sat in the motel room most of the time just listening to the waves. Great place to go and relax!
oops I meant a King View with an ocean view and fireplace
