Our room was exactly like other reviewers described. A little small, clean, refrigerator & microwave, flat screen TV, and there are free DVDs to borrow in the motel office. The staff was friendly, and very accommodating to the needs of my father who was in a wheelchair. We would definitely stay again. However, there are two things I will want...

This is a small motel with about a dozen rooms – single story with parking outside. My room had one bed. The room wasn’t huge but there was plenty of room to move around. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There was room to put things down in the bathroom and the towels were a decent size. My...

We booked this motel for its proximity to Crater Lake and also because of trip advisors ratings. We also liked that there were several restaurant choices in town. This is the older style motel but it has been renovated and alto it is a very small room, it has a flat screen TV, small frig and coffee maker. The bathroom...

Thank you for taking time to review our little motel. We are a small family business and have been lucky enough to have a motel, rv park and small gas station on the same property and always have some one here to help. Hope your stay in Oregon was more than you expected! Brian and Jeannine Earls.

Okay, so before you get hung up on the RV Park portion of this facility, know that the motel portion is dated but the owner has made very good efforts to upgrade it. The room was clean and the bathroom remodeled (but not sure how long ago). Our rental car had gotten quite dirty from traveling through National and State...

I reserved four rooms to accommodate a family group. The Highlander is just like what I remember motels being like when I was a kid. The rooms were pretty big and very clean. Interiors are dated but completely functional. The beds were surprisingly good. We had one kitchen unit which was well stocked with pans and silverware and kitchen gear....

The Highlander is smaller "highway motel" located just outside the Deschutes National Forest. It appears older and a wee bit run down, but was clean and the double bed was fairly comfortable. What really stands out is how quickly the staff accommodated my spouse and I when we had a medical emergency while camping nearby. Housekeeping finished a room for...

We got the last room available which happened to be the smallest one with only a full size bed. It was very clean, freshly remodeled, and the bed was comfortable. Microwave, refrigerator, & coffee available also. We will use this motel again whenever we go to LaPine, OR The other rooms were larger but we really enjoyed the small, cozy,...

This is a great place to stay. Place is kept up and clean and is connected to a gas station and propane supplier. It's a great value at $72.90 for double occupancy.
