I am a Diamond member of Wyndham. I was not allowed to use the public restroom while I waited 20 minutes for my turn to get checked in. Front desk guy said it was because of Covid. The front desk guy had less of a personality than a bouncer at a dance club. No smile, no polite chit chat. He was beyond slow. I have been traveling for 16 months and living in hotels. Even at the height of Covid guests checking in could use the public restroom. There was not even a grab and go breakfast offered. Front desk clerk also did not bother to tell me that parking in the back would be a faster and easier way to my room. He just pointed around the corner to my room. He did not even know what the Wyndham rewards program was and didn’t offer it to the lady ahead of me or the group behind me. The housekeepers were still cleaning rooms at 430 in the afternoon. The housekeepers were ARGUING in the hallway. My room was so dirty that the bedside table lamp was sticky. The lampshade had visible dust. The desk had a sticky film on it. For the amount of money this room cost the owner should be hiring his housekeepers back and PAYIMG them more. I stayed in other Oregon hotels before July 1st when COVID restrictions changed. This hotels problem is the owner not treating employees well. It is a non smoking hotel but people were hanging their heads out the window and smoking. Dropping cigarettes everywhere on the dry landscape because this hotel does not have outside trash cans. The Bootleg Fire did put smoke in Klamath Falls. Smokers should have been more careful. I travel with dogs. I picked up after them and left the bags in the parking lot. There is no outside maintenance because all my bags stayed in the same spot. The outside of the hotel is just filled with trash. This hotel could have potential but the owner needs to start putting some money into the property and employees.

Worst place we have ever stayed in all our years of traveling. Curtain rod and curtains hanging by a thread. Disgusting looking bathtub; poor lighting above the sink. Threadbare blanket (although the bed was comfortable enough). Landscaping covered in weeds and discarded appliances. There's a small coffeemaker but no cups unless you use the plastic cups from the bathroom. Should have read the reviews first. We tried to go through TripAdvisor and it said there were no rooms, so we called the motel directly. Clerk said everyplace in town was booked due to "graduation" but there had just been a cancellation so we grabbed the room and paid $131.00 total. I assumed it would be your usual Super 8 room - no frills but clean and maintained. So disappointed! Don't be fooled by the photos they use on their sight. It looks NOTHING like this!!! The "Pandemic" excuse of lack of personnel can't even make up for the conditions of the room or the grounds. It is located next to a Pilot service station and truck stop. There is a Subway in the service station and, at 7:30PM on a Saturday it was the only place we could find to eat.

I've never given a 1-star review until this one. The place is run-down and need of a serious redecoration. There was, what appeared to blood streaks on the wall close to one of the beds. Due to Covid and the governor's mandate, there was no breakfast, swimming, or anything - despite the CDC's easing of recommended restrictions. But the thing that got us the most is the nighttime front desk clerk's attitude. The remote didn't work, so I asked for replacement batteries. Wrong size given. I bring both back and get AA's. It doesn't work on the TV. The wife comes down this time and asks for a new remote. "Nope", then asks for someone to help... "Nope - no one available". Then asks if she can go get one from another room.... "Nope". Then asks to speak to the manager.... "Nope. Won't be here until morning". Just plain RUDE! During checkout, the clerk (manager?) informed us that that there are many different brands of TV's they have with even more remotes. He said since the light on the remote worked with the new batteries, that the remote just needed to by synced with the TV. Makes sense, but did the nighttime clerk tell us that? NOPE!

Multiple different colored hairs on the bed sheets and pillow cases when I pulled them back to check. I checked because just walking in was a nightmare. Lobby was full of boxes from a recent delivery. Front desk agent talked on the phone with someone else throughout entire check-in. Hallways were dirty and dark and were hard to breathe in because of all the air freshener the housekeepers kept spraying. Abandoned cleaning cart in the hallway was so filthy I was careful not to brush against it. There's no elevator and they don't offer to help carry bags. Every surface in the room was visibly dirty or caked in dust. Red pubic hairs on the side of the tub. A ball of hair in the tub drain. Towels were not white... more stained brownish white. Cobwebs in the corners of the room and hanging from the light. Mirrors were covered in big greasy smears. The fridge was dirty. The drawers had hair, crumbs, other debris, and one had a wet spill inside it that still wasn't dry all the way. The shower floor was so gross looking that I wouldn't have stepped in without shoes. We checked in, ran a couple errands, came back, looked around, tried to brave the grossness, but the more we looked the more horrified we became. I was promised a refund for my 3 nights w/in 5 days. Tomorrow will be officially 5 business days. I'd better get my refund. I've never been so disgusted. I didn't expect fancy. I would have been satisfied with basic cleanliness. This was so gross. I have plenty of pictures showing the filth.

CAUTION: Do not book at this hotel; they will give your room away before you arrive! I booked on Tuesday for a Sunday night. I arrived at 4:30pm on Sunday night and was told that they have my reservation but do not have a room. They showed no remorse that their carelessness left my family roomless for a night. I booked directly through Wyndham Resorts.
