Beautiful lake retreat with beautiful woods, and lots to do around. I was sadly unable to really take advantage of the sites and beauty, as I was there working, but I will be bringing my family back in the summer of 2015. The one bed cabin is extremely teeny tiny...like, you can touch all four walls from the bed, and...

The lake is the largest natural lake for recreation in the area. It stays clean, cool and full year round. There are many choices for boating, fishing and hiking. Trails nearby are also used by bicyclers and horse riders. I have come up even during drought years and been able to relax with my family. The resort is a wonderful...

Website makes cabins look like they are alone but for a couple of RV sites (overhead view). The parking lot which we were directly facing (Cabin 15) looks like a nice little empty space, not a dusty thoroughfare. The area inside the circle of cabins does not look like a Lollapalooza situation crammed with tents and trailers that comes right...

We arrived to check out the resort and eat lunch- there was quite a queue of cars to get through the pay gate to park. We are not locals and had no idea how popular summer is here! It was like a scene from a move- people swimming, boating, live music on the grass, buffet cookout, lawn chair circles... We...

After traveling for several days and camping along the way we were looking for a lodge for hotel. But we didn't want to lose the feeling of being in the woods. When we found Lake of the Woods Resort we were just blown away. The place feels like it came right out of the 1950's, in a good way. The...

This is a beautiful lake with recreational facilities and rustic cabins. Cabins are too close together and surrounded by huge RV facilities and campgrounds. None of the cabins are lakefront and few have views of the lake. On a summer day the resort was very crowded. Dust and smoke from un paved roads and open fire pits prevail. Our cabin...

We stayed in one of the little cabins after visiting Crater Lake National Park. The cabins have everything you need to relax and get away from the busy city. The beach area has cute red Adirondack chairs. The restaurant has great food and you can also grab small snacks at the little store. Great for families!

This is one of the best lakes in Oregon. Lake of the Woods has camping, fishing, boating, hiking and serene mountains surrounding the lake. Across the street you can also drive down a dusty 6 mile road to get to some hidden lakes. Its worth a drive to see for the family.
