My family and I stayed 4 nights 5 days in the Chalet. It was kinda warm when we arrived and the cabins are not equipped with ac, understandably, but the cabin cooled off once the sun went down. When I booked online , I could not find any pictures of what the house looked like from the back area, so I'm posting pictures for other people wanting to rent this house. It is spacious and nice for a large group. We had my wife and older kids and 2 daughter in laws and 3 grandkids and we were extremely comfortable. The house has many stairs to enter the house. Only the 2 bedrooms and downstairs living rooms are accessible without climbing stairs but the kitchen is only accessible by climbing stairs. Not a big issue unless you have bad knees, which I do but still doable. I would have given 5 stars except the wifi was not working consistently and we have teens and pre-teens who rely on that to stay in touch with friends. Also, I could not get a good cellular connection (Tmobile) so even trying to find store and restaurants was a challenge. Melody the manager( I assume)was very nice when I told her we were having issues and had it working by the next day although still in and out. Altogether, we had a great stay and will be back again.

Love , love love this resort! I’ve stayed in many different cabins all tastefully decorated and with all amenities you could need. Well other than air conditioning, this year was so hot even at that elevation. My Grandsons enjoy all activities here. Had Breakfast in the Restaurant last morning…. The egg Benedict was the best I’ve ever ordered anywhere!

I'm very disappointed in the restaurant. We noticed there was only 5 tables that were being used so we thought we would be waited on right away. Unfortunately we were wrong. It was 20mins before we were even greeted. I had to walk up to my server to ask if we had one. Than we waited on our food and appetizer for about 60mins. The food was simple fetteticine alfredo and kids fish and chips. We got our food first than our kids about 10 mins later! The food was cold and had no flavor very blan. The veggies weren't even cooked all the way and by the time the kids dinner got to us, my food was half eaten by my 5 year old daughter. Her fries were also cold and barely any salt. The server was not good on checking in. Honestly I felt like we were shoved in the corner and forgot about. She blamed the wait on our fries and onion rings. Which doesn't make any sense because fries and onion rings cook up fast. And the food was cold. So no excuses. Also there was only like 5 tables being waited on by two servers. Just horrible. I will never eat here again and I do not recommend the restaurant. Home cooked food is way better than this non flavored horrible food. Not worth the expensive crappy food!

This was our 3rd time to camp at LOW and we parked our camper trailer in a full hook-up site. The sites are spacious, but the sewer connection at our site and several other sites were higher than the camping pad itself. Which means extra work of lifting hoses to drain tanks. A few loads of gravel in each site would help to get the RV’s at a level so that the $__t rolls downhill. We came with a large group and love to fish. We’re an older crowd that’s not too fond of getting in boats, so fishing from the docks works best for us. The Marina staff was very inconsistent on allowing people to fish from the marina docks. We were yelled at when we tried it, yet other days people would be out there fishing off the marina docks and never confronted or told they couldn’t. How hard would it be take take a couple of unused sections of the floating dock to extend a dock for people to fish from? We ate at the Lodge restaurant 3 times for dinner out of the 10 nights we were there. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful (newly remodeled) with spectacular views of the lake. The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating for our large group. The food on the other hand was the biggest disappointment of our trip. All three nights our food was served to us just barely warm. Clam Chowder was barely room temperature. The baked potato wasn’t warm enough to even melt the butter we put on it. Fries were cold and the steaks and prime rib were over cooked and tough. If it wasn’t for our friendly waitress, we would have sent EVERYTHING back to the kitchen. It wasn’t just one of our meals or selections that was off, but everything! LOW needs to improve the camping sites and get some new cooks that know how to serve a Hot meal. That’s what would make us Happy Campers.

Stopped in for a lunch on our way through with our bikes. Parking area was a bit tight for bikes as there were not a lot of level areas. The lodge was really beautiful. Ended up having lunch in the upstairs new bar area overlooking the lake. Food was very good. Mac and Cheese outstanding. Looking forward to staying a few days on a quick vacation.
