I .was traveling and was attempting to book this online with my phone, on a 3rd party site.. The initial price was $125 around 7:30pm. I waited to to book thinking maybe I could make it further in my travels. When I went to rebook around 8:00 the price had gone up to $135. I thought ok, I waited and that's what happens. I push buy and some how it went up another $3. I asked about the price going up $13 in a short amount of time when I arrived and the receptionist stated that when they get busy, the prices go up. I counted 7 cars parked and it appears they have 25 units, so not even 50% occupancy. Then I had a $3 charge that I understand was a "Covid Cleaning Charge".And because of Covid, they were not offering breakfast or coffee and the pool and hot tub were closed. Yet there was an ice bucket stocked in the room and the microwave was available for use. At the height of Covid, ice buckets and microwave use was not permitted in hotels. Presently, pools, hot tubs and complimentary breakfast were available at the hotels I stayed at on this trip. So it appears that are not offering those things not because of true Covid concerns but to save money. Here's the breakdown if you are exhausted and need to stop: The room was clean but extremely dated with scratched furniture and a patched wall. The beds did not have a blanket on them, I guess you were supposed to use the bedspread only-yuk There is no security latch on the door.…
Very clean budget hotel! Friendly staff and everything we needed for an overnight stay while traveling. The room even included a microwave and mini fridge. Beds were comfy and the internet worked well. Definitely a great deal and we will remember and use this motel again.
Super friendly management. Went out of their to help us. The rooms are simple, tastefuly decoratee, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. They have refgerator and microwave in rooms. It is a little out of town but very simply to get to the area with resturants and shopping. I would stay there again.
An older motel, The beds were not comfortable. The room was dated with old garage sale furniture. We stop at two other hotels, but all were booked because of evacuation due to the fires in the area. Overpriced $238 per room per night. They took advantage of the evacuations due to the fires in the area. Won’t go back there even if the price was reasonable. Certainly not the best value.
Room was old, phone didn't work, curtain was broken, electrical plug had no cover on it, no hot water at facet and walls are paper thin. The people next door had a big fight at 11:33pm that woke us up and lasted for nearly half an hour. Very scary. No way to call as phone didn't work. Can't believe we paid over $100.00 for this one night stay.
Stayed here for almost week visiting a family member in the hospital, clean rooms, comfortable beds, convenient location, staff was always beyond helpful with whatever was needed. Definitely will be staying here again when the time comes and I definitely recommend staying here.
Rooms were clean and simple which made for a nice stay. The employees were friendly and the hotel is right next to a Pilot. They were happy to book me a room when I got in at 10pm and did so quickly so I could get to my room. Overall a clean and comfortable stay with friendly staff and it was nice that Pilot was so close.
Although the room was clean in appearance - the bathroom was clean, the outside of the property looked like the Bates Motel!!! in need of serious upkeep. The shower water was very nice and good pressure, the toilet ran all night long, and the shower plumbing fixtures need replacing. The furniture appears to be 50 years old and outdated. For the amount of money they charged us on a holiday weekend I feel was excessive and would not negotiate the rate given they where far from being sold out. Was it survivable ?? Yes - but in all fairness still crepes me out to stay in a place that should have been remodeled 20 years ago when in May of this year I stayed in beautiful Santa Barbara and a nice clean motor lodge for $80.00 less Note: the pool if that's important was not open . Our fault for not looking far enough ahead and pre- planning leaving a day early on our trip.…
We had booked a reservation with another hotel but when we arrived, they had given our room away. After trying every other place in town, we found one final room available at this Best Value Inn. They charged us $325(!) for a really shoddy room, but with a 4 year old in tow, we had not choice. When I pulled the covers back there were crumbs in the bed! This, during the time of Covid. Clearly this hotel is not operating by the standards they say they are in their Covid statement.
Our room was dated but clean and good repair. Having a refrigerator and microwave were a plus although there was no coffee pot in the room. Breakfast was a non-starter so we went away for breakfast. Front desk was helpful.
