All we can say is WOW. Spent 2 days ice fishing in a sleeper house. Over 100 fish caught, lots of small ones but caught enough 14” fish to eat. Also caught several slot fish we had to release, a few dandy perch and a very nice northern pike we released. Joe and the ice crew guides were great and put us on fish. Kudos to them and all there hard work. Thank you Arnesen’s for a wonder experience. Bob From Grand Rapids MN

Although this RV resort is in a nice location and has some good points, there are some definite drawbacks. Chief among these is that the bathrooms (men's and women's) were dirty the entire time we were there in early October 2020. In addition, they were freezing cold! We asked the management to turn on the heat, but it never worked. There were dead bugs all over the place, including on the shelves above the sinks and in the showers, and it was obvious the bathrooms were never cleaned the whole 5 days we were there because the dead bugs never moved. Be aware if you reserve one of the pull-through spaces that you're basically camping in a parking lot, side by side, with little privacy. Also, those spaces are right next to a kids' trampoline, so lots of kid noise. The better spaces are off to the sides, with nice trees and lake views. The store isn't well stocked (I mean, no hotdog buns? really?), and the prices are inflated. Food at the "restaurant" isn't freshly made; it's frozen heat-and-serve stuff, which was disappointing. Would recommend this spot mostly for those who enjoy hunting and fishing. People caught a LOT of fish, and shot dozens of ducks while we were there.

Beautiful location. Not super close to a town, so need to be prepared with essentials if there is anything you need. There is a restaurant and little store and they have cabins and trailers that are cozy, clean and warm. Nice kitchen and fridge in cabins. Trailers are also very nice. Staff was very helpful, kind and hospitable. Fixed any issues right away and provided hikes and routes for the canoeing. Canoeing was beautiful, though be prepared if you come in winter - just a little chilly!! Beautiful grounds, for short term stay!

We were there this last week in cabin 4. My boys just loved the place. The stars at night, they never saw so many. We got up for Sunrise, beautiful. They want to go back for a known meteor shower in the future. The cabin was great and the beds they slept on were perfect. Walking along the docks and boat docks, you could see thousands of fish in the clear water.

We booked a cabin for five nights as the last leg of a cross-country trip. What a horrible mistake. We left after the first night, deciding to sleep in our tent instead, and they didn't even have the courtesy to answer our emails asking for any sort of refund. Expensive. Horrible. Buggy. Dirty. The cabins are dirty and the screens don't fit properly on the windows, so we were eating bugs all night long. We decided we could keep bugs out of our tent more easily, so we headed to a campground for the remainder. This place is more of an RV Park (with horrible customer service). They should just lean into that and tear down the cabins. It turned into the most expensive night of bad sleep my wife and I have ever had. This place is a disaster. Stay away.
