Exceeded our expectations for our pit stop traveling from CA to the PNW. Clean, modern room with quick breakfast included. A plus was location on Lake Ewauna, with a walking path following the lake‘s edge, and walking distance to downtown restaurants. The Lake had pelicans, ducks, geese and benches that were strategically placed to enjoy the view. Appreciated after a long day of driving. Lovely despite the smoke from the S Oregon fires. Staff graciously offered to lock our bikes overnight in the first floor conference room.

This relatively new hotel is right on Lake Ewaunda and has free parking. Half the rooms overlook a construction site so be sure to book a lake view room if that’s important to you. Since this is a popular place to stay for Crater Lake visitors, prices are high and the hotel sells out fast. Your elite benefits won’t get you anything here. Regular Fairfield Inn breakfast option are now offered.

We stayed one night at the Fairfield Inn in Klamath Falls. The hotel looks brand new and it is close to downtown. The staff was friendly and were helpful when we asked for recommendations for dinner. This is your typical Fairfield Inn. Nothing terribly fancy, but we had a great stay. The free breakfast in the morning was all of the typical things you get at a Fairfield. They did a good job to take COVID-19 precautions. The only thing I would change is we had to ask for more towels in the room. There was only 1 bath towel for 3 of us. not sure if they figure they are cutting down on laundry if they only leave one towel in the bathroom. easy to remedy, but it was one extra trip down to the front desk. The Hotel is close to downtown and Crater lake National Park is a short drive away.

A new hotel that was in a perfect location for a visit to Crater Lake National Park. The hotel was busy which is a great sign after COVID. The staff were very friendly but seemed to be overwhelmed. Fitness Center did not open until 6:00 a.m. which was too late. Only 1 washer and 1 dryer.

For whatever reason I don't often find myself in Marriott properties and I'm not going to in the future. Keeping this short: Booked a day in advance. Arrived a 5 PM and they couldn't figure out if the room was ready. Waited 40 minutes and they decided it was actually available. The staff was confused and unprofessional, evidently untrained. The sink had hair and toothpaste in it. There's not even an pen or piece of paper in the room. The light bulbs are dim. 3-watt LED's, which are fine for accents but inadequate for reading. It's like they never built a hotel before and are just figuring it out. Brand new, beautiful, almost clean, nice view of the lake. NEVER AGAIN.
