The newly renovated hotel was clean, shower was hot, the bed was comfortable. Andy the host is very nice and looked after us very well. Made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is a budget hotel but surpassed our expectations for the price. Definitely going to stay there again if heading through Klamath Falls again!!
This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, ever. Especially for the inflated price. Unfortunately, the pictures show rooms much nicer than the ant-infested, duvet stained, dirty room that I stayed in. It was even missing one of the cheesy pictures above one of the beds. The mgr was conveniently out of town (holiday weekend) and has since only apologized for the dumpster fire that was my stay. There were drug dealer and transients on and around the property all night. It appeared some tenants lived on site. Never again will I stay, or recommend this hotel to anyone I care about.
Have always associated Wyndham with quality thus the reason we stopped here without reading a review. Check in staff were overwhelmed when we arrived. TV and Fridge didn't work, Bathroom door wouldn't close, tp holder missing, blood on bathroom door jam. Very dirty carpet at the exterior of hotel, holes in walkways. Took pictures because we were incredulous. Property should close until they renovate.
The room smelled strongly of cigarettes. We were met with a profanity filled note taped on the outside of a door when we got up the stairs about not knocking on that door. Cigarette butts outside the door of the room under ours. There is no elevator and some of the boards on the stairs are loose. The floor in the room was so dirty it turned the bottoms of my white socks black after only being in the room 10 minutes. Room was very small with 2 full beds taking up most of the room. The hot and cold on the shower were switched so that cold was hot and hot was cold. We ended our trip early because I did not want to stay in the room anymore. The cigarette smell got even worse over night, especially in the bathroom. Our car got blocked in by other parked cars and we had to back down a hill to the entrance because we couldn’t get through to the exit. We only stayed here because there were 2 events going on in town and all the hotels were booked. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I can’t believe it’s associated with Wyndham.…
For the price, Klamath Falls Travelodge might want to refresh their property with new carpet, paint, bathroom updates if they want to compete with others. We enjoyed the location across from the park and near restaurants.
The review title says it all. What a mistake! The place is grim & scary in appearance, and very poorly maintained. It was clear that some repairs had been done to the room, but very poorly, and they didn't even bother to paint over the repair scars. The room was fairly clean, but that, and the very nice, competent woman who checked me in are the only good things I can say about this experience. I will never stay in this hotel or any other Travelodge ever again! Wyndham should be ashamed! Had it not been after dark when I arrived, and the room prepaid on Priceline with no refund, I would have left immediately to find another hotel!
This was a very old hotel. The room/bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned, and it felt very sketchy. Seemed to be a place for drug deals to take place ... we did not feel safe leaving anything in our car overnight. Would not recommend this at all.
Old, DIRTY & in disrepair. Second worst place I've ever stayed in. AVOID this place and move on down the road ! It was so bad that we put our things back in the car & moved on, and didn't even try to get a refund! I'm shocked that this place is "under" the umbrella of the Wyndham chain!!! If I could give this a ZERO rating rather than a one, I would.
The thing that this dated property has going for it; it was clean, though needs work ups here and there. It is located right across from Waffle Hut, which has good food, but parking at this place can be a nightmare.
We were in town for a Pickleball Tournament; felt we could count on a Travel Lodge to be a reputable place to stay. We were wrong. This hotel needs to be knocked down and razed. Where to begin- check in area is worn and looking behind the counter is just a mess- boxes everywhere, religious paraphernalia- not professional looking. We are given our room and it is a handicapped accessible room on bottom floor- which we were grateful for. The bathroom was HUGE, but no natural lighting- all flourescent, no hooks to hang clothes on, or used towels and this really weird random storage closet that was not padlocked - we opened it and it was full of bags of (dirty??) towels, linens, broken lamps, cobwebs and other weird items. The shower had grab bars, and the bathroom was certainly big enough to be wheelchair accessible- but the shower was not roll in? We didn't need that, but I didn't quite get it. No fan/exhaust in bathroom. "Closet" was simply a shelf, but no hanging bar nor hangers to hang up shirts or dresses. Luckily we had a few hangers to sort of prop the hangers on the edge of the shelf. Latch lock taken off the door- it did have an extra turn lock, but I prefer the latch lock for personal safety. Chipped paint all over room. Stained carpet with divets in the floor. The TV WAS newer; microwave and fridge worked. AC mostly worked but could have been more efficient for hot July weather. The phone DID NOT WORK- I brought it to front desk attention; nothing was done. Huge safety issue. Also- no top coverlet on bed- just sheets and blanket. Also, there was a sign that linens would be changed on third day (we stayed four nights). They were not changed as I had gotten a smidge of food on the sheet and it was there all four nights. No breakfast offered as advertised. Laundry facilities are advertised but NONE of the machines work. None. Plus laundry room covered in dead bugs everywhere, no change machine (but front desk will give to you) and no laundry products to purchase... even though there are vending machines in there. Hanging baskets everywhere with either nothing in them but dirt, or dead weeds. Very questionable guests hanging around outside rooms, and outside the motel. You could not pay me to return here, ever. Really a BAD BAD BAD name for Wyndham Travel Lodge brand.…
