This is the "Best of the Best" Bed and Breakfasts we have had the great pleasure of staying in. Sandy & Nick are excellent hosts and Sandy is an excellent cook ! Nick is a Master Craftsman who accomplished building his and Sandy's Dream Log Mansion on the Idyllic Imnaha River in the wilds of Eastern Oregon. Sandy has used...

Beautiful unique house and great guest amenities with tv and games room. Bathroom and toilets were very small but were attached to a large ante room with basins and vanities. Everything was immaculate and owners were friendly. House is decorated in western style with multiple stuffed animals and skins on the walls. The drive down to Dug Bar is rough...

So, what were we looking for? Isolation? Check Quiet? Check Unique Experience? Check History? Check This is a gem among gems. I can't say we could compare this to other B&Bs we've stayed at because it's SOOOO remote and SOOOO quiet I found my thoughts swirling around in my head like moths around a light. I haven't really gotten them...

This is a great bed and breakfast. The host lovingly built this beautiful property himself. It is in a spectacular location on the Imnaha River near Hell's Canyon, about 30 miles outside of Joseph. At the end of April the wildflowers were spectacular! May and June are a great time to visit. Check with the host for when certain areas...

This is one of the best locations for a B and B I have been to. It may not work for everyone as it is pretty isolated, but for northeast Oregon it was perfect. Beautiful scenery and on the bank of a river with wildlife all around and run by good people that make you feel like you are visiting...

If you are looking for crowds , neon lights and noise, this is not the place for you. It is serene, comfortable and welcoming. The perfect get away. My husband went fly fishing, I hung around the lodge and enjoyed the birds, rabbits , deer and view of rolling hills while listening to the river. Sandy Prepared wonderful breakfasts and...

The owners are very sweet and hospitable. We were welcomed, even though we did not have a reservation. We spent our first night at the Imnaha Motel (big mistake-see my review). We escaped to this bed and breakfast and are sooo glad that we did. The place is spectacular as are the views. The owners, Nick & Sandy are the...

Nick and Sandy beautiful log lodge in just incredible! When we arrived with our friends we all just sat on the front porch and watched the river flowing by and the humming birds drinking from the feeders. There was also a large family of quail running back and forth! Awesome. When we were given our rooms both our friends and...

The Imnaha River Inn is certainly away from it all but completely worth the visit if you really want to get away from the hustle and bustle. The Inn is stunningly hand-built. The rooms are perfect and cozy, the game room is fantastic and relaxing and of course the hosts are helpful and super nice. If you are not used...

This beautiful lodge was a three year building project for the owners who clearly are proud of their work. The inn is two stories, entirely constructed with local wood and fine finishes. Sandy and Nick are great hosts and are so well informed about what to see and do. Imnaha is located in what is commonly referred to as the...
