A Peaceful Destination Rushing River Retreat is a beautiful place to stop, stay and rest along the riverside. Hammocks are waiting, lovely grass areas to picnic and barbecues to make evening meals. Not just a room but an experience. Sunbathing, fishing, riverfront decks to lounge on. Retreat for a weekend get-a-way Winter, Summer, Spring and Fall. The sound of the river is the background for your peaceful time away from the city with friends and family. We can sleep up to 10, but are here for the solo traveler as well. There is a lot to do on the riverfront right here or enjoy hiking trails, Detroit Lake, 20 minutes to Brietenbush Hot Springs, Hoodoo Ski Resort. We offer rental packages for Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle boards during our Summer season. Come to Rushing River Retreat to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience.

Our winter rates are about 20 percent less than high season summer rates. Which is great since attractions like Hoo Doo ski area and Breightenbush hot springs are accessible. Give us a try, you won't be disappointed!
