Thank you Frank for a fabulous breakfast & hospitality, second to none. You even converted my daughter into a pear lover. Thanks for the luxurious Turkish towels too. We loved the homemade cookies awaiting our return after show shoeing at Mt Hood. BTW we got two flat tires in the parking lot at Timberline Lodge with great tires on 4... More

We were thrilled by our room (the Terrace room) and the private bathroom, with a large two-person shower and jacuzzi. The room was absolutely beautiful with lovely moldings and decor. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was delightful - two courses (a warm citrus fruit starter, and marmalade & cream cheese-stuffed french toast with a side of sausage).... More

We stayed in the terrace room for 2 nights in August and thought it was great. The owners are very welcoming and very helpful. They gave us some great suggestions for day trips and provided an amazing breakfast out on the beautiful wrap around deck. It's not right in the center of town, but only about a 10-15 minute walk... My husband and I had a little one-night getaway in Hood River at the Inn. The service was very good; we were even upgraded to a nicer and larger room. The Inn is in a quiet neighborhood about a 20 minute walk from downtown. We a had a delicious, home-cooked breakfast with a roaring fire in the background. It was... More

We've stayed here twice, once in the terrace room which is very nice with a private entrance. The second time was in one of the 3 upstairs suites all of which have separate living and sleeping areas as well as small kitchen. These would be ideal for a longer stay. We were in the smallest, the Garden suite and would... More

This 100 year old, Victorian-style house is an excellent location southwest of downtown Hood River. The lodging is roomy and comfortable and the breakfast is beyond description! Frank & Michele are gracious hosts. We are looking forward to our next visit!

After viewing rooms & prices of other accommodations in town we happened upon The Inn at the Gorge. We stayed here on the 6th May for only one night. What a terrible shame we couldn't stay longer. We stayed in the ' rose suite'. It was a good size with a kitchenette & very clean & warm. The bed was fabulously... More

I am pleased we stayed at the Inn at the Gorge. We stayed in the Terrace room, it was larger than I expected and quite comfortable. The inn is walking distance to downtown, I enjoyed the walk. The breakfast was great. We had fresh fruit, apple cake, onion and cheese fritatta and the best turkey sausage I have ever had.

New owners, great location, very well refurbished, excellent food and an amazing staff. They can't do enough for you. The views are beautiful and there is a lot to see and do. The rooms are small as in all most old inns but the beds are new and confortable and the bathrooms are up to today's standards. We will definitely... More

Pros: Breakfast was delicious, the house and grounds were lovely and well-kept, decor was interesting. Cons: Older or handicapped travelers might have trouble with the antique showers (slippery, small, and high up). The walk from town to the B&B is a very steep hill. Rooms could be a little more spacious for the price.

“Bring your own soap and shampoo. We had our own, so no big deal. We found a fan in the closet, it was a little hot at night. Highly recommend this B & B, great staff and beautiful home. Loved having a little kitchen to ourselves, and the Jelly Bellies in the lobby! :)”
