We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is 100 years old but has been nicely restored. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even giving dinner recommendations. We took advantage of the discount and ate our breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed it very...More

Hello Bend, Oregon. Yes, we have a sweet location in downtown Hood River. This summer the temperatures were above average in the gorge. We wish we would have known about the conditions in your room being too warm. Our entire hotel i.e. guest rooms, lobby,...More
If you like older, charming hotels then this is for you. Rooms small but had complete kitchen. Courtyard view is really a roof deck, a bit claustrophobic. Location is great. Walking distance to stores.

We were there on a Sunday night and didn't need to pay for parking at night. However, we paid the $3 for a permit to put in our window to cover the next morning after 8 am. You can't park on the main street but it was easy finding a place on the street up from the hotel--a very short walk. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and that's where we had dinner. The owner was really nice and it made for an easy place to go after a long day of driving. We later walked up and down the street and there were other nice looking and packed restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect.
