Lovely room. Clean old charm. Perfect location. Walking distance to everything. Nothing too fancy but bed was comfy and room was clean. Wished we had a coffee maker in room. We would definitely go back. Great price!

We stayed in a ground level suite with a private outside entrance, full kitchen, bedroom and separate sitting area. It was like having a private apartment for the night and it was lovely. The suite was generously spacious and with the roll away and sofa bed in addition to the queen bed in the bedroom, could comfortably sleep 5-6 adults....

Hood River Oregon Hotel is good. We stayed there December 2107. The winter price was $99 per night. The room accommodations were acceptable. And the desk employees were very helpful. The lobby has a fireplace and that was enjoyable. There are many restaurants and stores within walking distance that we enjoyed. The busy season is during the summer. The hotel...

We've stayed here before, but this was our best visit. The staff here goes the extra mile to insure you have a good visit. We were in a second floor river view room and we loved it, but we needed an additional chair so we could both sit and read while viewing the river and mountains...just a simple request, and...

The staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. We stayed in a river view room that was tiny but clean. The hotel is very old with lots of historical features. The elevator is an experience for sure. The floors upstairs look like they are sinking. I was curious about the earplugs in the room. But when you are...

Yup, The floors creak, the windows are single pane and allow cold and outside noise, the heat is by radiator, trains rumble nearby on a regular schedule, the ceilings are high, the small elevator has a polished brass accordion door and the staff is very gracious, helpful and always have smiles. If you like places with character, feeling and history then...

Couldn't have had a more prefect Birthday weekend at HR Hotel. A blanket of snow everywhere made for a postcard scene of beauty and elegance. The staff was top-notch with their service. Santa even greeted out 4-yr old at the door by the X-mas tree. Will make this our 'go-to" place every time we come back. In the heart of...

Having had the pleasure of staying here a couple of years ago, I booked this for my family when we hit the Polar Express train ride. The employees, particularly James and Dawn, were extremely accommodating and provided amazing customer service. You remember what that's like, right? The hotel is old, quaint and like going back in time. The restaurant on...

My wife and I stayed just one night. We loved the town of Hood River! The Columbia River is very impressive and Hood River is beautiful with lots of excellent dining and brewery options. It kind of reminded me of old Park City... minus the huge river of course. The hotel is quite old but well kept. Rooms are quite...

If you would like to experience what hotels were like yesterday, this is the place. The wood floors may creak, the elevator is slow, you may hear sounds through the wall. But overall I would come back. There is the downtown, restaurants, an old city feel. Comfortable and safe. Would I chose this over the glitzy hotel, Motel, yes.
