We stayed here one night as a last minute decision while traveling for work. Checked in around 6:30 and out at 9:30. REALLY wish we had more time here. Such a cute place and so close to everything. Price was great and we were upgraded...More
This hotel is in a great location which is the only reason I gave it two stars. The room itself was awful - small and very dated. The bathroom was tiny. Staff were nice enough but until they do a major update I would not...More
I spent two nights at the Hood River Hotel as part of a best practices mission from Canada. The room was clean and large with basic decor. If you have trouble sleeping try to get a room facing the north as the south facing rooms...More
Downtown location is very convenient for walking to shops. Hotel has lots of character, but the train noise was a bit too much. Was woken up 2 or 3 times each night of the stay due to the noise from passing trains. The showers were...More
We've spent quite a few nights at the hotel and never have been disappointed. As others have noted, it is a hotel first constructed in the 1800's and renovated over the years. The rooms may seem a bit small, but their size never has been...More

We were there on a Sunday night and didn't need to pay for parking at night. However, we paid the $3 for a permit to put in our window to cover the next morning after 8 am. You can't park on the main street but it was easy finding a place on the street up from the hotel--a very short walk. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and that's where we had dinner. The owner was really nice and it made for an easy place to go after a long day of driving. We later walked up and down the street and there were other nice looking and packed restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect.
