On August 7th 2018 my daughter and I stopped in to see if there were any rooms available. We had been staying at the Columbia Cliff Villa and it looked like we would need to move since our room had been reserved by someone else...More
Historic, charming and quirky with all its pros and cons. Good bed, small bathroom and noisy portable air condition unit. Small shops and restaurants nearby. Easy street and lot parking around the hotel.
We stayed in the hotel for one night. I booked through Expedia so I knew we would not get a prime room. We were on the third floor- I knew the room would be smaller as it is a historic building. The window overlooked the...More

We were there on a Sunday night and didn't need to pay for parking at night. However, we paid the $3 for a permit to put in our window to cover the next morning after 8 am. You can't park on the main street but it was easy finding a place on the street up from the hotel--a very short walk. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and that's where we had dinner. The owner was really nice and it made for an easy place to go after a long day of driving. We later walked up and down the street and there were other nice looking and packed restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect.
