I am so glad I took a break from another hotel stay during my week long adventure on the Oregon Coast. Carolyn is everything a host should be and I had the best night of sleep and it was so hard waking up to make the drive to Crater Lake. She was great company and offered dessert at night and...

Carolyn is an unusual hostess...friendly, talkative and exceptionally accommodating of her guests. You won't find a quirkier more personable place. The food is delicious (and she went way out of the way to deal with my allergies) and the bed is completely comfortable. A lovely stop along the way for a weary Rogue River Valley traveler.

I love B&B's and enjoyed getting to know Carolyn on the phone, but I was disappointed by her property. The pictures on her site were taken ten years ago and a lot can happen. There could be no more hospitable hostess anywhere in the world, but when I was there, she needed a good dose of spring cleaning and the...

My wife and I stayed at the Restful Nest B&B for one night on our way home to Texas from Seattle and couldn't have asked for a better visit. Booking with Carolyn by phone was incredibly fast and easy. Paying our deposit via Paypal was very convenient as well. The location on the Rogue River is beautiful and we were...

If you are on the road between the Bay Area and Portland, this B&B is worth the five minute detour off the interstate. The hostess, Carolyn, is the sweetest woman, and she attends to details to make sure you enjoy your stay. Your child want bacon for breakfast? If she has it, she'll make it. She's a baker who whips...

We stayed two nights at the Restful Nest. We were last here in 2005 with our three children and the hostess Carolyn is as wonderful as ever. She remembered our family and showed pictures of our stay in 2005. She has the most amazing homemade berry pies that are served down in her kitchen every evening. The guests sit together...

Being B&B owners ourselves we appreciate the effort Carolyn has made to make her place homey, clean and comfortable. The place is immaculate, the food delicious and the hostess friendly and helpful. Resful Nest is in a great location just across from the Rogue River. We stayed in the Garden Room which has a comfy queen bed, air conditioning (which...
