The RV sites are nice with easy access. The sites at the end closest to the ocean are also closest to highway 101 which is noisy at all hours. The park has a problem with the shower facilities. It is very hard to get hot water in the shower. They have signs in the showers that tell you to run...

Checked out as soon as we saw the spot, old, overgrowth, hook ups rusted spider webs every where, no cap on dumping hole, trash cans next to spot. Terrible don't recommend at all, restaurant closed perminately, went on to gold beach found great spot.

We stay in the cottages at Turtle Rock a few times a year and love it. The beach is just a few steps away and the resort is always very quiet. We prefer to bring our own food and eat at the cottage rather than at the restaurants in Gold Beach. The downside is that cottages are not usually stocked...

We had one of the back-in camp sites along the forested rock area and it was great! Pretty area, on the river which there are sites you can choose that view the river, short walk to the beach, about 5 minutes maybe and the best bathrooms at a campground that I have seen. I heard that it gets dusty but...

We asked to speak the the Office Manager was told no. The office workamper proceeded to call my husband a liar. When the maintenace manager arrived. We thought...

We had a great view of the River from our trailer, perfect beach access from the campground and right across the street from Arch Rock Brewing a definite place to visit when in Gold Beach Oregon. I didn't give it a 5 as had to wait for the shower to heat up after 10 to 15 minutes. Nice friendly staff,...

Stayed in a cottage the first weekend after Labor Day. Had good weather. Took several side trips which were worth it. The cottage desperately needed a good cleaning, especially floors, carpets and rugs. There were cheese snacks everywhere. The microwave and stove top were clean, the oven another story, but we had no plans to use it anyway. The outdoor...

We stayed for 5 nights in an RV site with hot tub. Cons: 1) the park desperately needs some maintenace. The grass was dead (although it is end of summer and they may have water restrictions due to drought, not sure). There are many small things that should be maintained better. For example a couple sites had hookup boxes that...

We discovered Turtle Rock Resort in November 2015, intending to stay one month. We stayed 7 months adjacent to Hunter Creek which is only two minutes from the mighty Pacific, and we were truly reluctant to leave. The natural beauty, the peace, the authentic wild nature of the park itself, is addictive. Such tranquility abounds in the Turtle Rock Resort...
