Comfortable beds w fireplaces in the room. Good fresh breakfast included but no fresh fruit. Beach access is very nice and accessible. Close to stores and local gym. This place has cable and decent access to channels. The ocean view rooms are really worth the cost and the bungalows are very nice.

We needed a place that excepted dogs and was located on the beach. For these two needs this hotel does an ok job with, however other needs such as comfort and quality of the room fell way short. The door to our room looked like it had been knocked down with a battering ram and then a local handyman with...

The Beachcomber has gone downhill since our last visit 2 years ago. All I can say is I had to wash the window to watch the beautiful sunset . on the pro side the bed was comfortable, the TV worked and the room was warm. On the con side the remote was missing the back plate that holds the batteries...

My husband and I arrived in Gold Beach late at night. This was the only place we could find in town that had someone available to check us in. This place is just a short walk to the beach and offers a beautiful view of the ocean. We were lucky enough to spot some of the resident Wales from the...

We booked into this property for a three-nite stay while on an off-season roadtrip up to Oregon after reading its webpage and determining that it would meet our dog-friendly needs. The property is perfectly located on the main drag through Gold Beach (Hwy 101) and made access to eating, shopping and daytrips exceedingly convenient. There are tthree buildings on the...

While traveling on 101, I simply stopped at the end of the day wherever I happened to be and this day it was Gold Beach. It was after dark when I arrived, so briefly drove through town and while my budget was a concern, I was tired of Motel 6 type digs. The rate quoted was dropped a bit when...

Really cute place in Gold Beach, OR… On our road trip down the 101 from Portland to Bay Area in July 2012… on this day, we thought we’d make it to the California border, but didn’t get that far. So, we rolled in late to this great hotel… Other places in the area were booked with their doggie rooms… which...

This was a great room at a great price. Coustomer servise was awesome. The Buck that frequents the yard was fun as well. The room was huge and really clean. I would recomend this resort to every one. This resort is great for pets, children and adults.

We stayed here once before and didn't recognize it from the web site and ended up here again. Web site is fantastic, the real thing is something else. Beds and furnishings are nice but the rest is very dated and needs refurbishing badly! Bathroom has grout on floors that is very stained, moulding and trim needs replacing and coffee pot...
