My wife and I were passing through Sweet Home and stumbled across The Foster Lake Inn.
This hidden gem of a bed and breakfast is on the shores of Foster Lake and is simply delightful, we stayed in kingsized bedroom with an amazing four-poster bed and two televisions and a jacuzzi bath! There was a problem with one of the tvs and Steve could not have been more helpful and solved the problem with a replacement unit, far more effort than I expected but he and Tracy really cared about our stay and it showed.
Tracy and Steve could not have been better hosts and we were planning on staying just one night but we enjoyed the place so much we stayed a second night.
A bonus was an excellent restaurant next door The Point, and Steve and Tracy had negotiated a discount for Inn customers.
Great room, great welcome and good price, we'll definitely be back if we are in the area.

Older property well maintained by the owners and operators Steven and Tracy. Quiet and convenient to the main highway with a good diner next door. When they saw I was traveling by motorcycle they suggested I put it around back with their personal vehicles. Nice touch. It is so nice to see a couple trying this hard to please their guests. I would go back.

This isn't a cookie-cutter chain hotel, but you get everything you'd get from a place like that (good bed and bathroom, microwave, fridge, etc) plus a warm, welcoming, family feel. We only stayed one night, as we were driving through on I-5, but it's definitely worth the 20-minute drive off I-5 to get a bit of relaxation. There's a great breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurant (The Point) right next door.

My spouse and I went to the petrified ranch in Sweet Home, after a five hour drive, digging all day we were delighted to find our room clean comfortable with a jetted tub to easy the aches away. The owner were friendly and helpful, thanks for a great night of rest.

Room Tip: Was a great choice, very clean, my mom would approve and she is fussy.

All I can say is WOW! The owners of Foster Lake Inn are probably the nicest people we've ever met for accommodations. And let's talk about the accommodations.....from the four-poster king size bed that was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it to the jetted tub to soothe aching muscles to the huge TV in the sitting area....We didn't want to leave! All this for such a REASONABLE price, we will definitely be back to stay again!

I stayed at the Sweet Home hotel the first night I was in town to visit my new grandbaby and knew there had to be something better. I was searching for a new room five minutes after checking in. I found Foster Lake Inn and booked it for the next night. I was so pleased when I arrived. It's an adorable quaint farm home style house. The owner was super friendly and gave me the history of the place. The room was super cozy, decorated with antiques, and very homey. Little touches from tje scented soap and hot cocoa and cider packets make it extra special. The bed was a memory phone mattress that was so comfy. I can't wait to come back when I can stay longer.

The motel manager was delightfully friendly and made sure our room was satisfactory..... sits across the street from Foster Lake although we did not have a view of the water.

Room was clean, well supplied, and air conditioned. Bed was ok.

Not sure if they could accommodate a family of more than 4 but could be wrong.

Perfect stop for an evening.

The property and owners reflect the name of the town "Sweet Home." Our hosts were friendly and helpful. On check in we entered the front door and found our key on the front desk. We had booked early so we stayed in Suite #1 which had a king bed, big screen TV in the living room with another in the bed room. The room was a bit dated but very clean and comfortable with a view of Foster lake. The bathroom had a spa tub which we did not use. Downstairs there's a fireplace and plenty of DVD's to watch. A very warm and charming visit to this property one in which we will utilize. There is a good Tavern just down the street toward town that serves good fried chicken and a nice restaurant "The Point" in the other direction. Both in walking distance.

I was in town and needed a place to stay for the night and ended up staying 3 nights. The owners were very accommodating for the last minute call. I had the best dinner next door at the Point and met cool locals! the first room needed new carpet though, so I moved to another room and was very happy, it also had AC
