We have stayed here two different times - in May and Sept 2016.
We love that there are only 3 places to stay here.
We sit on the porch of our room and watch the travelers stop for gas, and drive on.

Great people. Good food - but get there by 3:30 pm for "dinner" because the grill closes at 4:00 pm. Motel with private bath. Fascinating people watching at this former stage coach stop near the Nevada border.

The nicest place would be up at the Alvord Hot springs about 10 or so miles up the road. It is a pay place but there is a hot springs and plenty of free places nearby. I camp about 5 miles south of town there is a road on... More
The nicest place would be up at the Alvord Hot springs about 10 or so miles up the road. It is a pay place but there is a hot springs and plenty of free places nearby. I camp about 5 miles south of town there is a road on the right that I have seen lots of people bring RV and campers. Next to a small creek.
