Great stay. The first morning I had breakfast which was some sort of a pastry with local eggs. The local eggs have a creamy orange yolk which is,for lack of a better description " to die for ". The staff was helpful and friendly. Matt served me some great Ninkasi beers and made sure I had a wonderful breakfast box...

If you are going to Eugene and "WOW" isn't enough be sure to try the Excelsior. It's just a few blocks from the college in a neighborhood full of funky shops and restaurants but it remains an oasis of calm and discerning comfort. I was amazed at the level of quality and comfort for the price and to top it...

I surprised my husband with a Valentine's package at Excelsior. We had champagne and chocolate strawberries when we arrived followed by a delicious dinner downstairs. It was the perfect romantic evening. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had plenty of candles. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast in the bistro. I...

This Inn was such a pleasant surprise. This Inn is music themed and each room has a different composer's name and a cd player equipped with a nice classical cd. The room comes with breakfast and a complimentary dessert as well as WiFi and parking. My room was so quiet it was quite wonderful. There is 24 hour access to...

We stayed at the Inn after driving from San Francisco (9hrs) 90 degree weather. The staff was welcoming, our room was small but comfortable. The bartender suggested a nice cold, crisp local wine and we sipped it in our room before dinner. Breakfast the next morning was more than expected and set us up for another day of travel.

This place was really friendly and nice with a very good restaurant, the only draw backs were the parking and couldn't get their wifii to work!

We were passing through Eugene and needed a place to stay. The Excesior Inn was a Foder's Choice and since we had been pleased with their other recommendations we made the reservation. It was terrible. The reviews and claims all said formal hotel in casual town, marble bath, cherry floors etc. pre-finished floors, no crown molding, plastic shower rings, holes...

When we visit family in Eugene, we always stay at the Excelsior. The rooms are small but well appointed. The location is conveniently located 2 blocks from the U of O campus. There is off street parking which is a plus in this neighborhood. The price is great and there is a full (delicious) breakfast included. This is our spot...

We were very pleased the service, the accomodations, the location (one block from campus), and the overall value. We stayed in the Haydn room, which was comfortable -- it's not huge but the photos on the website are an accurate representation. The window is on the alley, not the road, so it was quiet . The WiFi seemed a little...
