Very friendly and helpful staff. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. Good location, which is an easy walk to downtown and the river. Also has a laundry which added to the convenience for us. Also a really good Vietnamese place only a block away!

With graduation this town was crazy. Not the place we normally stay when we visit Eugene. Our regular place was double the price of the Timbers. It was clean and comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Except that our son graduated and moved away from Eugene. The mini fridge was nice to have as was the free parking.

As others have noted, the motel is clean with a nice decor. The downtown location is convenient and free parking is appreciated. Even though the motel allows pets, the closest grassy area was about 2 blocks away, across a busy intersection, and not really in the safest neighborhood for walking at night. The motel did not provide any dog waste...

I only stayed here because there weren't many rooms available in the city for some reason. They are apparently gouging me almost twice their usual charge for this place. Looks better than most but stinks. I won't be back.

AS it turned out this Motel was PERFECT for everything we needed to do in the downtown area. Our room was clean, quiet, a comfortable bed & pillows and the shower and towels were way better than we anticipated. Very fluffy towels! This is an older Motel and some updates have been nicely done. There are shades of the age...

This is an old motel that is gradually being nicely updated and remodeled. I spent 3 nights and as others have noted, rooms close to the street can be noisy, even on the 2nd floor. After the first night I asked to be moved and the helpful staff gave me a room further from the street, still on the second...

My stay at The Timbers Motel was a bit of a surprise. I booked the hotel almost randomly, based mainly on the price. I wasn't expecting much and I was shocked and impressed by how lovely and comfortable the rooms were. From the beautiful high wood ceilings, to the intricate tile work in the bathroom, these rooms are nicer than...

This restored 50's? style motel is a great place to stay for a very reasonable cost. While there was a slight musty smell when we first went in, that quickly dispersed once the door and window were left open for a bit. The room was very clean. The high ceiling with wood beams and the wooden floor make the unit...

This was my third stay. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the manager is very accommodating. There is ample lighting, which can sometimes be an issue if you like the drapes closed all the time. The housekeeping staff was also very pleasant and provided me with extra towels when I asked. Cable and WIFI was easy...

Timbers Motel while being an older building was in great condition. I found the rooms to be very clean and comfortable. The wood ceilings open beams made it cozy and they had plenty of indirect lighting and lamps to give it a very warm homey feel. The bed was comfortable and bath had a generous vanity space. The negatives were...
