Great place to stay when in Eugene area. Dollar for dollar, way above some of the other hotels I've stayed at. A lot of restaurants in the area. Nothing was lacking in room or service available. More than likely will seek out this hotel brand in other areas when travelling.

We picked this hotel because of the location, close to family for a reunion. Good off street parking. Nice lobby, outside courtyard with fireplace, helpful employees, a downstairs common area for sitting where breakfast is served. Fun area with lots of outside dining spots. The room would be perfect for long stays. Kitchen with full size frig, dishwasher, coffeemaker, dishes and glasses. Separate sitting area with couch, and desk work area. Comfy beds. Breakfast is included, coffee, yogurt, breads, different egg choices, juices and waffle station. It's a little higher price than we usually like to pay for a hotel room but it was worth it due to, location, atmosphere and the free breakfast.

Great place to be. Clean and safety environment.
Employees are very friendly and helpful.
The free breakfast is a +, very convenient . The laundry room has free machines use for all guests.
Housekeeping dept. always cleaning all common areas
The facility has security guards services that will make you feel secured. This place has created a family and business environment!!!!
I will recommend this Hotel to any of my coworkers, family and friends.

This was a quick overnight “let’s rest before heading home” type of stay. First and foremost being that we’re in a middle of a pandemic I was expecting for our room to be spotless. I went in before my family sprayed and wiped down with lysol and I’m glad I did because the kitchenette area had food residue/ crumbs with what looked like coffee cup stains and I feel that something as obvious as this should not have been missed, so it left an uncertainty in me.
I feel housekeeping as well as management should do a better job so that guests can feel comfortable and most importantly safe. They should ensure that their “Lysol sponsored” sealed rooms are thoroughly cleaned.
Room was averages and had what was necessary for the night. It seemed to be situated in a good area. Coffee and food down the street so it was perfect for getting back on the road.

The room had a sticker on the door saying it had been cleaned (and with high standards due to covid) but my friends and I found little pieces of candy strewn about the room and it was very easy to see... kind of gross and made us question how well the room was cleaned. Also despite how new and nice the hotel looks from the outside or picture, the room wasn’t great. Doors and walls are scuffed and dirty. Bathroom is old and kind of weird. The shower has soap dispensers on the wall like a public shower which felt a bit odd too. also there were a lot of very rowdy guests gathered in groups just outside the entrance, smoking and drinking. Hated the smell and it was a bit creepy walking back in at night. I’ve stayed in better Hilton’s. Wouldn’t have stayed more than the one night.

Two factors make this hotel excellent-the physical nature of the hotel and the staff. Set in downtown, it is sparkling clean, comfortable furniture, large TV, great bathroom, free and ample parking, a good "to go" breakfast (considering COVID restrictions) and more. I don't know why but even the room doors are more quiet than others-usually the heavy doors slam making a horrid noise and these didn't. The staff go out of their way to be helpful with whatever requests you may have. Clearly, management stresses customer relations with their employees and it shows.

I'm writing about a horrible experience I just had trying to check into our room at this hotel. The reservation was under my partner's name and he gave his passport for ID when the check in clerk rudely told us that he needed his drivers license instead to be able to check in. Unfortunately my partner misplaced his drivers license so when we told her that she very rudely informed us that we wouldn't be able to check into the hotel and that we were going to have to "eat the $200 on our room" and that they would still be charging us no matter what. She then told us that everyone has a drivers license and that he should "really work on that". Still trying to be nice, I asked if I could be added to the reservation because I had my ID and she once again said no and that there was nothing she could do and informed us again that we would be charged for this if we cancelled and there was no way for us to be checked in. We asked to speak to a manager to try to sort this out because we were getting nowhere with this lady, I think her name is Shana, and she went in the back to talk to someone before coming back and rudely stating that there was nothing that could be done and we would still be charged. We asked if we could speak to the manager she just talked to when she informed us that her manager wouldn't actually be in for a half hour so we could either leave or wait around until a manager came. (Who did she go to talk to before?)
We left very frustrated with our experience and called the third party customer service that we booked the room through where they happily changed the reservation to my name and when we went back to check in we luckily were helped by a very nice old man who checked us in without any problem.
The rest of the stay was great but I have never experienced someone as rude and unhelpful as the first lady which made me want to write this review. We understand company policy, but someone could have told us it was an option to switch our reservation on our third party app instead of telling us to eat $200 dollars. As I'm sure you can imagine this was a very unpleasant start to our vacation and very stressful to almost have to waste $200 without any sympathy for our situation.

5 nights and no complaints. Quiet, clean, actually everything looks new. Free parking, great location, friendly staff. I love that the doors close quietly too. (I’m sitting in another hotel right now listening to door after door slam)

Due to covid breakfast is a bag with fruit, granola bar or muffin, plus a choice of microwaveable egg bowl, danish, bagel or yogurt (different options each day).

In addition to Home2suites, I’ve stayed at Laquinta and Best Western in Eugene. Home2suites was by far the best in terms of cleanliness and hospitality.
I found it extremely expensive for what it was though. Think of it as a nice courtyard with a kitchenette (microwave, fridge/freezer, sink, and some basic cook and dish ware). While mostly clean, the room was fairly basic. On the cleanliness front, there was some mold on the caulking in the bathroom. I’m always grossed out by that. My only other complaint about the room is that there were no USB plugs for charging. First time in forever I’ve been in a hotel room without that.
Pool was nice and the pool area was clean. The breakfast was quite basic, but fine. Coffee was good.
In all, it was good - but I’m really unhappy about the cost. Crazy expensive. I guess that’s what you have to pay for a hotel room in Eugene that doesn’t make you want to run away.
