We visited barking mad farms for a long weekend getaway, and now we can't wait to get back. The food that Emily served was fresh, delicious and imaginative. The conversation with Rob was engaging, thought provoking and enjoyable. And Roo is the best farm pup a guest could hope for! They really know the area, too. From day drives, to...

2 night stay for us in the Seven Devils Suite. Everything was excellent - the room, the hospitality, the breakfast, the bed, the bathroom, the location. We thought it might be too far from town but it's actually it's very close and you can also be to Joseph in no time if you want. Great location to take long walks...

My husband & I had the opportunity to visit Enterprise a few weeks ago. We could not have chosen a better place to stay, for both the views and hospitality. Having a delicious breakfast on the deck with the Wallowas as a back drop could not be beat. Definitely peaceful. We stayed in the Seven Devils Suite, which afforded a...

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made to feel very welcome by both Emily and Rob. The location is spectacular with fantastic views. Accommodation was perfect, very comfortable and in a great location for exploring the area. Breakfast was homemade and eaten out on the veranda with the snow capped mountains in full view.

This is an awesome spot to unwind with clean comfortable room and a delicious breakfast, Emily and Rob were great hostess/host with easy to talk to attitude about what they are trying to do with 42 acres, chickens, the farmhouse, etc. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the porch listening to the red wing blackbirds and doves while overlooking on...

I would highly recommend this country B&B. Modern and not at all stuffy; the accommodations were quite sufficient, with all the comforts of home... for me AND my pup! Plus, it was the best I'd slept in ages. The breakfast Emily cooked for me this morning was delicious, fortifying, beautiful, made with so much love, and accompanied by really good...

The previous reviews are spot on. Serenity, natural beauty, peaceful oasis. This B&B is located a couple of miles SE of Enterprise on Alder Slope which is a flat, mostly farmed plain extending all the way to the edge of the Willowa Mountains, jutting up 9 to 10,000 feet above sea level. The elevation of the B&B is about 4,000...

Barking Mad as a name did not immediately conjure images of blissful peace in a natural setting. Add to that the fact that my daughter and I were visiting in the dead of winter, venturing to the Wallowas to visit friends. My first thought was being greeted by barking mad dogs and snow drifts piled so high we would have...

My wife, dog and I spent 4 wonderful nights in this bucolic and friendly B&B. The owners Emily and Rob are an absolutely delightful younger couple who go out of their way to make guests feel at home in their lovely farmhouse. Emily's breakfasts are to die for and the coffee is never-ending. There is so much diverse natural beauty...

Loved our 3-night July stay with Emily and Rob. The upstairs room over the garage was roomy, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast cooking was fantastic! Emily and Rob are really knowledgeable about the local ecology, so we learned a lot from our conversations with them. We really appreciated how accommodating our hosts were. Highly recommended!
