Detailed Reviews
We first saw this property last year when we were wine tasting at Durant. We knew then that it was a place for our return trip to the Willamette Valley last week-end. Tucked above the olive shop, private, secluded, a slice of tranquility amongst vineyards, herb and plant gardens. The interior is so well appointed with a light filled kitchen, bathroom stocked with premium toiletries and a marvelous mattress made up with luxurious linens. With floor to ceiling windows on both sides of the living room you look out over a view you don't want to leave. We highly recommend and will return!

Two nights spent at Durant's at Red Ridge Farm‘s Garden Suite we’re god for the soul. Private, well appointed, and comfortable with stunning views of vineyards and hedgerows showing their fall colors. The mile long loop trail through the vineyard and oak woodlands and past the sheep pasture added a great outlet after a day of wine tasting or first thing in the morning. The pleasant olive oil shop and nursery and complimentary wine tasting were all staffed with engaging and friendly staff. Our stay could not have been better.

Stoneycrest cottage is one of the best places I have ever stayed. First off is the view, looking out onto the vineyards. There is a covered porch to enjoy the view. It has all the amenities you could ask for. There is a full kitchen, large dining table, large couch, two bed & two bath. The king bed in the master bdrm is very comfy, and master br has double sinks, a soaking tub, and beautiful tiled shower. The cottage is secluded and quiet. It's also close by to all the wineries. Highly recommend staying here!

We stayed in the Garden Suite for the weekend and hosted family on both Saturday and Sunday. The staff were friendly and accommodating the Garden Suite was awesome. We will do it again for sure!
Everything we needed was available in the room. We loved having coffee in the morning out on both balconies

Durant winery and Red Ridge Farms are absolutely magical. Imagine being surrounded by olive trees, lavender, herbs and plants galore. The view of Mount Hood and acres of hillside vineyards is stunning.
We stayed in the Garden Suite which is a high-ceilinged aerie filled with books and views of the gardens from both sides of the living room.
The staff were warm and welcoming and made the whole visit very special. We can't wait to return.

The best stay in the Willamette. Waking up among the vines was incredible. Pictures don’t do it justice. Tons of outdoor space makes it great for kids too. Beautifully furnished, all you can need to cook a great meal. We will be back!

We stayed in the cabin and my friends stayed in the suite. It was their first trip to Red Ridge Farms and my 6th. I have stayed elsewhere but, nothing compares to the relaxed, secluded atmosphere of Red Ridge.

Great spot in Oregon wine country. Durant Winery and Farm is a beautiful spot. From the Stoneridge Cottage are views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. Deck is above a vineyard. Nice walks from here. Gift shop has much more than wine. Cottage appears to have been recently remodeled. Nice kitchen with two bedrooms and laundry.

We just returned from a two night stay at Red Ridge Farm and the place was beautiful in every way. The grounds and surrounding area provided a great view and the suite was clean and well kept. Unfortunately for and unbeknown us, the owners were having a slumber party for their nine-year old daughter in the adjacent newly completed event facility on the second night of our stay. As we were relaxing on the deck after a day in wine country, the "quiet of the country" was washed away by the sound of a children's' party. I think children are great ( we hear our neighbor's kids every day at home), but not when I'm paying for a place billed as "a perfect place to relax... at sunset". It is unfortunate that the owner does not understand that for some people, "quiet" and "relaxing" don't include a slumber party next door. Had we not had our evening on the deck tainted by a group of playing children, we would have loved the place. With the newly completed event facility in close proximity, it might be a good idea for the owners to stop billing the suite as quiet and relaxing.

The Suite is a full 1-bedroom apartment above the store overlooking the vineyards. The apartment is well-stocked with all the necessary bedroom, bathroom and kitchen furnishings. There are 2 outside balconies that offer lovely views. The entire setting is quiet and peaceful.
The Suite is about an hour from the downtown area of Portland and a little farther from the Oregon coast. Everything is very convenient and a couple of close, small towns offer shopping opportunities. There are , of course, many close places for wine-tasting and Red Ridge also has a tasting room for both wine and their olive oils.
Our favorite nearby town (less than 10 miles) was McMinneville. It has a quaint old-time downtown with a number of excellent restaurants and shopping and there is also a 10 theater movie complex.
Other close attractions include a casino and the Evergreen Air Museum.
Whether you want to tour Portland, drive the coast, test your luck, watch a movie or just have a quiet day with a beautiful view, this is a great place to make your temporary home base.
