As reported by others, this is a really nice property in a great location. The rooms are very clean, large, and very nicely furnished. Yes, it is a bit hard to find, but most map systems will get you there easily. Breakfast is as advertised, continental with pastries and the usual cold fruit and yogurt. I felt that it was...

Everything was right about this place. We were on a multi day road trip and driving through Coos Bay on a Saturday afternoon when we noticed the Edgewater Inn off in the distance. We decided to check it out and fortunately they still had a few vacancies. They got everything right for the entire visit beginning with a dog treat...

My wife and I stayed here as were passing through, its a nice clean room at a fair price. It has a sliding door that faces a little inland river... it's nice, but I wouldn't call it a view, mainly mills and industrial views. This is a big hotel and probably has many amenities that we didn't take advantage of,...

We were lucky to get a room here This is a really nice place and the breakfast was pretty good. My friend asked the desk help if they had caramel long johns like our previous hotel did since they got theirs at safeway also. The lady was so nice that she did walk to safeway which was next door and...

The Edgewater is a hidden treasure in Coos Bay, Or. After searching for a decent hotel in this town without success on many travel sites we began just driving around looking for something that we were attracted to. We noticed The Edgewater along the slough and stopped in to ask for a room. The room was extra large, has a...

Sure there's a little inlet of water outback, but the front is located in a supermarket parking lot. Anyway: the place is a little shabby, but it is clean enough. Not bad for a nights sleep while you are passing through, but this is definitely not a destination spot.

Travelling up the coast of Oregon, we stopped in Coos Bay for one night. The Edgewater Inn was priced right for our needs and the photos were inviting. We ended up with a room that was opposite the water side, which was fine for the short trip, but it should be noted that it overlooked a parking lot and RV...

This hotel is located along the river in between Safeway and Fred Meyers. There is an indoor pool, jacuzzi, and small gym. Pool towels are provided. The rooms could use an update, but they were clean and served their purpose. Be sure to reserve a room facing the river(they have balconies), otherwise you will be looking at the parking lot....

The hotel is OK but wifi was not working in my room. I called front desk 3 times and I got unfriendly answers like, "I am busy and don't have time to help you", "You are the only person having wifi problem", "There is nothing I can do". She even refused to provide her name. We had a iPad, 3...

We stopped for the night in Coos Bay and had made reservations at the Edgewater Inn. We arrived around 4 p.m. and the place was dead. The reception staff was less than welcoming and downright unfriendly. Although I did not reserve a room on the water side I asked if it was possible to get one facing the water. Her...
