I had the family suite. It was totally awesome! It had 3 double beds & a pull out sofa so everyone in my party had there own bed! The room was very cozy & quaint. It reminded me of a country cottage...right out of a Thomas Kinkade painting! The owner was extremely accommodating & friendly. I would highly recommend this...

This place looks a bit of a heap from outside but dont be put off. Inside the reception was friendly and helpful giving me a personal tour of the room and its features. Room had some intriguing furniture with definate pioneer suggestion made out of pine logs but the bed had a very comfortable mattress. Similarly the room was fitted...

Sort of a retro - lodge. A bit over priced, but that is not a big problem. Actually, not a lot to choose from in this area. Owner was very nice and the roof was very clean. If you are heading north from crater lake, this is a good option.

This place is definitely not for everyone. It is a 1929 boarding house, somewhat modified to be a hotel. The decor is straight out of a second hand shop or flea market. We stayed in the Rose Room on the back of the second floor. It was very quiet. Amtrak runs behind the hotel, but we only heard two trains...

The modern world bypassed this hotel and that's exactly what I liked about it. Chemult is admittedly a tiny way station on US 97. Many trucks pass through and it is surrounded by deep forests on both sides. The hotel fits right into the town. Rates were reasonable, the rooms were clean if a bit outdated and well-used, and the...

The hotel resembles as such a old model from outside, but has all good assets . Nice bed which is made of wood logs .Good for a night stay..but if you are a light sleeper and can wake up for small sounds, then your sleep is out as it is right next on the High way which would definitely disturb...

Awful place, unless you like truck spotting at 3am! I don't know how this place can be described as 'homely' or 'rustic' - it's a shack at the side of a main highway, opposite an all-night and day truck stop. Note the quality and cleanliness from my pictures. Cat biscuits in the room - see owner's response to another review...

Forget staying in Bend Oregon. Stop just south about 60 miles on hwy 97. This 1920s train stop Roadhouse is adorable. They have kept the essence of the era. But modernized amenities. Rooms spacious. Bathrooms nice. Good water pressure. Very nice towels. Small but good TV. WiFi. Lots of DVDs available too. Verandas for sitting outside. Good coffee in the...

Sorry but I am going to disagree with those who find this place to be acceptable or better. In my view, this place markets itself as being country charming and folksy but in reality it is run down, badly maintained, dark and grubby. The visitor should also be aware that Chemult is basically not much more than a very busy...

We chose this motel based on reading reviews on trip advisor and price and found it to be delightful. The owner was very nice, the motel was clean and pleasant with a nice little table and chairs on a shaded small deck which we took advantage of with a picnic dinner. Despite being right on Hwy. 97 it was quiet....
