What a wonderful b&b this is and a magnificent host in Karen. The rooms are beautiful, well appointed and so comfortable. Karen creates an easy going and warmly welcoming environment for the guests. A lovely fire in the lounge that so relaxing to chat and read next to. Karen's breakfast is without comparison, it was spectacular. Everything locally sourced and...

Last month my husband and I stayed at the Carlton Inn for the 2nd time and I must say that it was even better than the first trip. Coming back for the 2nd year in a row we really felt comfortable at Karen's house and with Karen. I see some changes she has made over the past year and think...

Small B&B in a very small town. it is a convenient location for exploring the area and Karen, the innkeeper, is most helpful. She is an excellent hostess who makes a dynamite breakfast. Lovely, older house.

A very pleasant, peaceful spot in the heart of Oregon wine country, in the small village of Carlton. Karen is an attentive and able hostess and provides much guidance to the area wineries and restaurants. Oh, and a fabulous breakfast!

First and foremost, it should be pointed out that the innkeeper is a professional in the best sense of the word. She knows her task and isn't afraid to admit and then improve on what few mistakes she may have made. She didn't actually make any while we stayed there, but she did admit to one or two in the...

My daughter and I chose to stay close to town when exploring the wine country. From the Carlton Inn we could walk into town and enjoy the various places to eat and enjoy wine. The Inn communicated well when we booked it and was very comfortable to stay in. The home is lovely and the food excellent. Karen has a...

We arrived at the B & B, Karen welcomed us, got all the business out of the way, and we begin a great stay with a very capable proprietor. Karen gave us Al the wineries locations, free tasting cards and a trek that would take us the least amount of time. What we got was a very relaxed fun couple...

Booked this inn so my husband could taste wine and walk home. Many, many wineries in town. Unfortunately we misjudged how long it would take to drive here from the coast and only two tasting rooms were still open when we arrived at 5:10 PM. We were there on a Monday night and most of the restaurants were closed. Luckily,...

Clean, comfortable, friendly and great food. Nice garden to have your morning coffee in. Also, the town is small but has plenty of wine tasting places and restaurants within walking distance. Wi-FI was fast enough

We stayed for several days in a beautifully appointed first floor room that, in the bad weather, was cozy. The hosts are friendly and helpful and enjoy having guests. The local area has lovely wide treed streets, good restaurants and cafes and a laundromat. Close to the old port but far away enough to be out of the hubbub. The...
