Can't add much to the glowing reviews except to say we certainly weren't prepared for this marvelous B&B. Delightfully decorated, excellent breakfast and the owners were wonderful. Enjoyed every minute. It is truly a bright spot in otherwise drab Burns.

We loved this place. Our room was clean and comfortable. Welcoming fire in the fireplace on a cold night. Very thoughtful touches everywhere from reading material to a little fridge upstairs for guests' use. The hosts manage to find the perfect balance between friendliness and respecting guests' privacy. Breakfast was just superb. Corinne's homemade soaps and lotions make lovely little...

Their buttermilk blueberry pancakes have got to be the best I've had, and I'm a pretty good cook! (There were also local sausage, fruit kabobs, and ham & egg & cheese puff -- all in one breakfast!) The hosts also graciously stayed up for us, because we came in pretty late. This is a good base camp for adventures in...

Never stayed at a B&B and were pleasantly surprised on how nice this place was. Rooms were very quiet and clean. They serve a fantastic breakfast with excellent coffee. The grounds are well kept and rooms very clean

This lovely Inn was a perfect stopping point for us. A historic home, in Burns OR, sits on a sprawling lawn (a little too much lawn) with lovely flowerbeds and is very inviting. As with many bed & breakfast inns much of the spaciousness is cluttered with too much furniture and collectables but this place showed some restraint. We appreciate...

The room was very clean and the bed provided a great night sleep. No TV is not a down side in my book. Instead of staring at a screen I sat on the porch with a wonderful cup of tea and watched three does (deer) play for about 1/2 hour. Breakfast was delightful, puffed pastry with scrambled eggs (eggs were...

This was a beautiful bed and breakfast in Burns, OR. We really were impressed. The room and the house was spotless, the grounds were beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, the hosts were friendly and accommodating. After arriving we checked in and sat on the wonderful front porch and watched the birds and the deer. We think it is the best...

My wife and I spent three nights at this delightful BnB. It was superb with the most courteous hosts. Breakfasts were outstanding and served well. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with morning coffee or evening wine and watching the deer come through the front yard. Mike and Corinne are very knowledgeable about the area and know the history...

I travel to Burns for work, and have found the Sage Country Inn to be the best bed and breakfast in Oregon. The Inn Keepers are extremely organized and pleasant. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and clean. The breakfasts and snacks are exceptional. I am grateful that the Sage Country Inn is in Burns, Oregon.

The host and hostess have this business down to an art. Very pleasant and comfortable old home in the middle of town. Walk to most things in town, but it's still quiet with spacious grounds. Very comfortable sleeping rooms. Unusually nice common areas. Friendly hosts with plenty of advice when you want it. Superb breakfasts.

Thank jeft

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sage Country Inn has been described as an oasis in the middle of the desert. The Inn is located in the heart of town and is a great place to come back to after a day of exploring the high desert. We have a large yard with several spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the quiet, peaceful lifestyle of small town America. You will find the Inn and your room to be unfussy, clean and comfortable. The common areas have ample room for reading, visiting, or watching TV. On cool nights, a real wood fire will be going in the fireplace. We also offer a full hot breakfast in the morning, featuring fresh fruit and piping hot selections right out of the oven. ... more   less
