Had the chance to spend three very relaxing, restful nights at the Inn November 1-4. The Inn is a wonderful setting with calm, peaceful evenings. Maranda's breakfasts are a lovely way to start a morning.

Had the pleasure of spending October 1 & 2 with Mike and Corrine, enjoying their "five star" bed and breakfast treatment. Lovely property, excellent room and the food served at breakfast would not be out of place in a high end fine dining establishment. Friendly and informative hosts, who tactfully advised us on which areas to explore with our limited...

What a lovely surprise! We are new to B&Bs, so to find such a lovely place to stay while we were visiting eastern Oregon was truly a delight! The room was amazingly comfortable with a private bath and beautiful home environment, and the owners were so welcoming and made incredibly delicious breakfasts! They did share with us that a local...

The hosts are incredibly welcoming and gracious. This is the such a lovely place to visit, with many details addressed, beautiful and comfortable rooms, places to rest and enjoy the ambiance. If visiting the Malheur Wildlife refuge or Steens, this is the only place to stay in Burns. The breakfasts are amazing, wonderfully prepared food and they offer to fill...

Scarcon: Wonderful Bed & Breakfast in an historic home on a large landscaped lot.Quite a surprise in this small, remote town.Great innkeepers and guests.Burns needs to have much better restaurants.Ate at Andersen's Pine Room which has marginal high-priced food in a run-down restaurant.

Burns, Oregon is about as remote as any town in the lower 48 states, with a huge surprise of being able to boast the town has one of the best B&B accommodations we have experienced in some time. The owners, Corinne and Mike, are well experienced in operating a successful B&B...I believe they mentioned they have been in the business...

We spent 2 nights at the Sage Country Inn to visit the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns OR. It was the very best place to stay compared to all other hotels, motels, or other B&B's in a 5-week-trip! The house is located in a wonderful garden, where we saw Mule Deer grazing at dusk, our room (Kathreen's Room) was...

After attending a family funeral we were tired and wanted a clean quiet place for the night. We read the reviews and agreed it sounded perfect and it was. Mike was so accommodating and the breakfast he served the next morning was above and beyond what we expected . We would highly recommend this place to anyone !! The Brady's

Sage Country Inn and the proprietors are simply fantastic. We felt very welcomed, we loved our room and found the bed more comfortable than any we could remember. Neat and clean, warm, and friendly, it was wonderful hearing Tschaikovsky for breakfast rather than seeing a baseball show on ESPN. Speaking of the breakfast...well, you'll have to see for yourself as...

We came upon this FANTASTIC place by pure chance. We were looking to get a bit further east from Bend on a cross country road trip and checked on Trip Advisor for places in Burns. So so happy we found this gorgeous place!!! The BEST B and B anywhere!! Not only is the home ( and grounds) worthy of a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sage Country Inn has been described as an oasis in the middle of the desert. The Inn is located in the heart of town and is a great place to come back to after a day of exploring the high desert. We have a large yard with several spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the quiet, peaceful lifestyle of small town America. You will find the Inn and your room to be unfussy, clean and comfortable. The common areas have ample room for reading, visiting, or watching TV. On cool nights, a real wood fire will be going in the fireplace. We also offer a full hot breakfast in the morning, featuring fresh fruit and piping hot selections right out of the oven. ... more   less
