In the fall huge maple leaves cover everything but the hillside behind the cottage is still green with fern that remain that way year around. The window seat in both rooms of the cottage provide that peaceful place that renews your spirit. Yes, the furnishings are well worn but that only adds to the charm of the place. The room...

After reading all the great reviews on Trip Advisor, I was really looking forward our stay in the Upper Cottage at the Bridal Veil Lodge while touring Oregon. First of all there is no sign out front so it was hard to even find the place. Everything looked really worn out in the cottage and it was very dusty on...

We stayed in the lodge itself and it was all we had hoped for and more. This was our wedding, honeymoon and first trip to Oregon; one we will never forget. The family was amazing and my husband keeps going on about the breakfasts. We stayed for seven days and from the first night felt like we were staying with...

We stayed in the Upper Cottage for one night and it was lovely! The cottage is charming with lots of natural light and you feel secluded, although you are only a short distance from the main house. The owners are very hospitable and cooked a wonderful breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed the conversation as well! The Bridal Veil Falls...

They were very accommodating and helpful. They were very nice about preparing breakfasts to meet everyone's dietary needs. Our room was nice and the area is beautiful. Roland knew a lot about the area and was able to give us lots of information.

We arrived late from a concert at Edgefield, but the owner waited up for us and told us it was no bother at all. Spent a peaceful night in one of the cute cottages and slept well. The next morning we got to chat with the host and other guests over a good breakfast, and learned about the historic house...

We were running a little late after taking a wrong turn and were afraid that we had passed the B&B so we called and Roland said to stay where we were and he would come to lead us into the lodge. It was almost dark when we arrived but we could see how beautiful it was so the next morning...

This lodge is full of history and the family that runs it is more than happy to share that history, including many artifacts from earlier days. If you like history or antiques you'll love this place. We stayed in the main lodge one night and then moved ot the cabin for the couple nights. The rooms were comfortable and large...

This is the best kind of B&B - the kind where you can stay in a small cottage close to the main house. Our cottage was charming and extremely comfortable (great water pressure in the shower!), with a cushioned window seat, skylights, and terrific privacy. It felt like camping, but without the discomfort. The main house has loads of antiques...

We had a lovely stay in the main house here: very friendly owners, and all sorts of fun books and knick-knacks in the house that evoked a 1920s atmosphere. It's also in a great location--convenient for seeing all the waterfalls along the Columbia River.
