This trip was long anticipated and well worth the wait. Simply put, it is a destination for men who golf. If you are not in this category, it may not be the destination for you--sorry. It caters perfectly, in my opinion, to this group. The room in Chrome Lake was plenty big and had sort of a minalmist design--not in...

Bandon Dunes, on the Southern Oregon rugged coast, is a golfers mecca- 5 challenging courses with excellent lodging and dining options. Staff are helpful and well-trained, a pleasure to interact with. We were there in the "off-season" -early November and got one day of traditional links course play in rain and wind, and a second day with sun, little wind...

Without a doubt, the single best venue for serious golf in the US. The hotel/lodge is simple but more than adequate, the service is excellent in all arenas and the venue itself is sublimely beautiful. Golfers will find this place incomparable.

What an amazing place - golf heaven!!! The accommodations are great, the golf is fantastic, and the scenery spectacular. Staff was very accommodating. Food was only adequate though and outside of the resort it's a long way to the nearest restaurant.

A large group of us spent 5 days at the Grove cottages and honestly there is nothing the staff could have done better. Every person you talked too had a smile and was very friendly. I was minus a bag of luggage that contained my rain gear in it. While at the practice center i was approached by the head...

We are spending our last night here in the Mecca of Golf in the Pacific Northwest and smiling about our experience here. My wife and I have been fortunate enough to visit many of the top golf resorts and our experience here matches or exceeds our experiences at other venues. The pictures you see online don't tell half of the...

We spent 4 days in August with a group of 9. It is definitely a golfers destination type vacation. The rooms are rustic but clean & comfortable. The entire staff was friendly & attentive. We unfortunately had one player who got injured as soon as we arrive and the spa personnel went out of their way to help her. The...

We stayed there around June 2014. Stayed at the Lilly Pond room. Room was by no means luxury (i.e Ritz like quality). Very basic and decor was not modern. For the price we paid, I would imagine the room would be a bit more luxury. I think the room was designed for hard core male golfers. Bed was not very...

I spent three days at Bandon Dunes in late September with a group of eight golfers. We played all of the golf courses at the Bandon Dunes resort and stayed in the Lily Pond accommodations on the property. The main thing to keep in mind about Bandon Dunes is that it is a golf resort, and only a golf resort....

There is no better destination for a golfer. Each of the golf courses is among the best in the country, the lodging is as nice as you are willing to pay and the food is perfectly adequate. There is nothing I would improve upon. You are there for golf....nothing else. Do not confuse Bandon as a hotel with several golf...
