We stayed here the night before and night after our backpack in the Wallowas. We had room 119 and 124. Both were clean and relatively quite. A big plus is that the rooms have screened windows that open for fresh air. Good shower with plenty of hot water (we tested that the second visit after five nights in the wilds)....

Private run, basic but does everything you need including being walking distance to the main street where the bars etc are. The other chains are mostly out by the interstate meaning you'll have to drive.

I reserved two rooms because this hotel was highly rated on Tripadvisor, but I and my guest were disappointed. The rooms were down a long dark hallway because the office forgot to turn on the centrally located light switch. They were hot and stuffy and did not have individually controlled thermostats. The beds where pillow top beds from 2005, making...

How about an egg&sausage burrito, English muffin/creme cheese&jam, oatmeal, dry cereal etc? Need light for reading in bed, extra pillows, great towels, comfortable bed, quiet, spotlessly clean? It's all covered; plus friendly and helpful service. Economical as well.

I came to stay at Bridge Street Inn for a few days and honestly i was wary because of the previous reviews but have been satisfied. The rooms are small and out dated but my room certainly did not smell like smoke or air freshener and the bed was super comfortable. The walls are thin, I brought a fan with...

This motel was clean and had really friendly staff. The set up was weird as you had to go down a short hall to the room on a sloping floor, but it wasn't a big deal. The room had a slight musty smell but went away with the window open for a while. We had our dog and it is...

Positives: Inexpensive, good location, nice walking path along the Powder River nearby, relatively clean, friendly host, decent breakfast for the price. Negatives: old and run down, needs a major facelift including a new mattress & bedding. We had noisy neighbors who congregated outside our room to smoke so cigarette smoke came in through the cracks even though this is supposedly...

Very pleasant stay for under $60. Great value. Bed a little saggy. Otherwise no complaints, nice hot shower. Decent continental breakfast. Highly recommend for budget travelers. Easy walking to cafes, shops, parks.

This is an old motel right downtown. The pluses : It is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is OK. You pay 50 $. The minuses : the beds are soft. The walls are paper thin. A few things are missing, like alarm clock, hair dryer. No chairs outside. The picnic table could use a fresh layer...

The room was ok, again, nothing special, property located at end of main street but within 10 mins walking distance to some restaurants and brew pubs. It appears that they also have full time residents living here. As someone previously stated the walls are pretty thin. Continental breakfast was your typical continental breakfast, nothing special, was not impressed with the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bridge Street Inn was built in 1957 and orginally known as the Hereford Motel. It was renovated in 2005. We provide 40 exceptionally clean rooms with comfortable pillow top mattresses in bed sizes double, queen and king. There are 10 brightly lit hallways that lead into four rooms in each hallway, two on the front and two on the back. Approximately half of the rooms have tub/shower combinations. There are rooms with one (Queen or King) or two beds (Double or Queen). The hallways provide additional privacy and extra warmth during the winter season as the entrance doors do not open directly to the parking lot. Each room has a refrigerator, microwave and ceiling fan. Most of the rooms now have flat screen televisions. We provide Wifi at no cost to our guests. There are outdoor barbeques and picnic tables available to our valued guests at no cost. We have ample parking and can provide for those towing trailers. There is a paved walking path beginning on Bridge Street that leads to the other end of Baker City. There are parks and dog friendly areas along the way and the path runs along side the Powder River. We do accept pets and there is a pet area onsite. ... more   less
