Everything is charming about this hotel - it's steeped in local history and beautifully restored. We've stayed here twice and loved it both times. Centrally located, it's within walking distance of many restaurants and services in downtown Baker. The restaurant in the hotel was a little expensive but elegant and the service was excellent. We heard the stories about the...

The hotel has some grandeur with the dark wood and the wonderful stained glass in the ceiling. The room is two rooms separated by a curtain. The bed was comfortable and the staff was gracious. We ate dinner in the restaurant, and was entertained by the police coming in to question some locals for not paying (definitely not the hotels...

We like traveling the back roads and the experience of smaller towns. Baker City was our choice for our 33rd year anniversary as we love the NE Oregon landscapes of mountains and open ranges. We wanted something a little more special so we picked the Geiser Grand Hotel. We were not disappointed. The staff was exceptional and helpful. The dinner...

We stayed in Room 305, enjoyed beautiful sunset in his lovely room also overlooking Main street. The restaurant was lovely and food was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return. There are several museums to visit and enjoy reliving history of the old west as it was emigrated by the pioneers.

We were in room 305 and enjoyed the sunset from our view of Main St and the mountains. Since we faced west no need to worry about the morning sun in our room, although we did pull the drapes. The room was very large and the AC worked great. I saw one review that said their pillow were flat and...

Enjoyed a 3rd floor room and the grand Blue Mountains in the distance. Even on the 'main street' it was very quiet all the time. The room was restored to the elegant look of the hotels of the West a century ago and we had many comfortable nights sleep. The dinners and cafe were also very enjoyable to eat/drink at....

For all the beautiful furnishings and restoration here you would think they could spring for decent pillows. Super comfortable king bed with the worst, flattest old pillows ever. Not what I expect from this type of property and for the price. Other than that, very clean & safe.

Beautiful old hotel with a rich history. And the dinner was amazing! Best Prime Rib I have ever tasted! Huge cut and smoked too! The family had wonderful meals also! The deserts were to die for. And there, you can ask the ghosts:) No really, did not see any. Great decor and perfect location. Very clean rooms and the staff...

We stayed one night at the Geiser Grand on a recent trip top Baker City. We expected a higher room rate than we were offered. That set the stage for a pleasant night and morning breakfast. Up front I need to say that my wife and I love historical architecture. So we just loved taking in all the care that...

We are three adult women and we share one very nice, spacious parlor suite with a King, Queen and a roll-away. Quiet and comfortable. The mattresses have seen better days. We had dinner downstairs, and the menu was lovely and fairly priced. Our particular waitress was fair , at best. We lived the cafe, where we had delicious happy hour...
